  1. Hello Everyone, Well I came back from my trip to Orlando and Hilton WDW Resort, I thought I would write a quick review. I think the hotel has undergone some renovation but it still shows its age. The room was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. When I arrived in the afternoon the room was not ready but that did not really bothered me as I had other plans. The front desk was professional and friendly. It was located within couple of minutes walk from Downtown Disney, so that was helpful. Overall it is an OK property, but I would probably not stay here again on my own. This hotel was fully booked the night I stayed there so i could not get another room for friends. Instead I got a room in Hilton Grand Vacations Club. I was very pleased with the hotel and the suite, I will absolutely stay there again. Hope this helps someone.
  2. Henrik, Did you ask for an upgrade at the desk during check-in or did you call them before arrival? Was it an upgrade to an executive (tower) room or a suite? Thanks.
  3. Yep that was it. Thank you. The three resorts (Wyndham, Hilton and Hyatt) are very close to each other. Is it safe to assume that PL first picks Wyndham and Hilton, and if they are full, then Hyatt ?
  4. Hi Henrik, Thanks for the info. I will be there for one night on March 24 2007. I started for a Resort with: $90 Disney World Vicinity - rejected $95 + Kissimmee - rejected $100 + Airport - rejected $105 + Winter Park - rejected $110 + Downtown - accepted I will need one more room so I am going to try PL again and see if I can get Hyatt this time. I am guessing I should not have added the downtown area, I should have tried Altamonte Springs instead. And I am going to start with a higher bid. What do you think? I feel a little bad because It looks like this hotel goes for $70-90 on average and the price I got thru PL is very close to regular rate from their website, $139. Since I need another room maybe I could ask for an upgrade to a suite. But I heard that the staff is not very friendly. Also, there used to be a map here showing the hotels and their locations in Orlando. Could you direct me to that page if you know it by any chance? Thanks. Damien
  5. Hello Everyone, I just wondering if anyone successfully booked Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando trhough Priceline recently? I could not find a recent post. Is it not part of Priceline anymore? I was hoping to get that hotel but instead got Hilton Resort for a total of $132.52 (110+22.52 tax) for one night. I am disappointed I wish I could cancel it.
  6. I do not think any of them will be upto my expectations, after reading Tripadvisor. Casa Marina Resort POPULARITY INDEX #39 of 66 hotels Traveler rating: 3.0 of 5 Radisson Hotel Key West POPULARITY INDEX #41 of 66 hotels Traveler rating: 3.0 of 5 Hyatt Key West Resort and Marina POPULARITY INDEX #28 of 66 hotels Traveler rating: 3.5 of 5 And no pool! Sunset Key Guest Cottages look nice, I would have increased my max bid but I am not sure If I can bid with Priceline or Hotwire (via SavingsBarn of course).
  7. First off, I wanted to say that I am a new member and this is a great site! I am trying to get a hotel in Key West from 06/17/06 - 06/18/06. Hotwire shows $180 for 3.5* and $134 for 3*. Their list of amenities are: 3.5*: (I believe this is Casa Marina Resort) Resort Beachfront Restaurant(s) Pool(s) Fitness Center Tennis Nearby 3*: (I believe this is Courtyard Key West Waterfront) Restaurant(s) Fitness Center Business Center Pool(s) Tennis Nearby Laundry Facilities Is it possible to identify these? There are no re-bid zones or 3.5* hotels in Priceline (it is either 3* or resort). Would prefer a Resort. Max bid will be $150. No back-up reservation. Have not bid yet. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
