Thank you. This might be too risky given the fees. Of the hotels named above the only one that doesn’t charge is the Westin. The rest are a minimum hundred dollars, at which point I might as well just book directly somewhere that doesn’t charge a fee.

We ended up booking a Starwood with points. The point value was so low it just made sense.

Staying in Chicago 11/1-11/3 12/1/-12/3. Trying to find something in Mil. Park, River North or Mag Mile areas. The issue is we will have our dog, so we need pet friendly. I am still seeing the same amenities with the BiddingHelper.com. Mill. Park area is not of interest. We want something as close to pink line as possible. Hubs is wanting to do west loop to avoid having to make the loop around each time we go west. I'd rather stay in north loop. On another topic, do you know how accurate "Book now. I think the answer would depend on the which property they may be. Location is a priority, but cost could make the difference.

Yes! It was the W - I would not have considered that a boutique, but ok! I am actually quite pleased with this. For us it was about price, everything else was over $100 a night. We will be seeing Metallica at Soldier Field, so it's not too far from there. We go to the city often enough and are fine with walking/uber and don't need to stay on Michigan Avenue. Plus, we have status with Starwood, so I am hoping that might help us got an upgraded room. Doubtful, but we shall see. Thanks!
