Hi all. I'm traveling to Chicago the first weekend in November. Have an event to attend Friday night a little north of Lincoln Park area (Lakeview) and then Saturday morning event at Concord Music Hall. Advice on which are to stay in. I've mostly stayed in River North area in the past and love that area. But is that too far from the venues I have to get to? Thanks!
This was a very nice property in a fantastic location. I was traveling with my 3 kids and knew I was rolling the dice on bed choice. We got lucky and ended up with two queens and a sofa in a very lovely room.

I was pretty open on where to stay. Here is my bidding strategy: Du Pont/Woodley Park - 3 star - $60 - Rejected -added Cleveland Park re-bid zone - $65 - Rejected -added Mount Vernon re-bid zone - $70 - Rejected Downtown-White House - 3 star - $60 - Rejected -added Cleveland Park re-bid zone - $65 - Rejected -added Mount Vernon re-bid zone - $70 - Rejected Capitol Hill/Convention Center - 3 star - $60 - Accepted With my 7% coupon it comes to $72.28. I'm pretty happy!
Thanks so much for the bidding strategy. I followed it until I got to bidding on 4 star, MTE, MTW and TS for $153 and that was accepted at The Lexington. Looks like a great location. Thanks again!
I'm willing to pay a little more (up to $200 a night including fees) to be in Times Square/Theater District or CPS but I'm ok with MTE or MTW. A small room is likely OK too. We don't spend much time in the room at all and we don't bring a lot of luggage. Thanks!
Hi! First time posting here. My mom and I are looking for a hotel in NYC for 2 nights (March 28-29.) We will be going to several Broadway shows and running in Central Park so CPS or Times Square/Theater District are ideal but MTE or MTW are OK too. Last year we stayed at The Barclay which was nice but a little far to walk in the cold in heels to the theater at night. Would like 4 star for around $150 per night (but could go up to $200 including fees.) Could you please offer advice on a bidding strategy? Thanks so much!
