I noticed Hilton had three sold out properties and other properties had limited availability. I went into panic mode and bid $70 today. I got the room at the $70 price point. There is only one rebid for 3 stars, so perhaps I should have bid $60 and then $70. I was in full panic so I probably bid too high. Still Shows when searching for Windsor (YQG) hotels. It was not a downtown hotel. I should have been more specific. Do we have any idea which property this might be. I think for the difference in price, I can afford to drive a little. My only criteria is that the place is clean, and in a safe area. I don't want to get a short stay hotel. My first bid got the room. I bid a bit higher than I normally do because I wanted to win this one. The only bummer is that I like to stay in the Riverfront area if possible. I picked up a good deal in another way, but will keep the rules in mind for future trips. This board is indispensable.

I bid 28 first time and was rejected. I was asked to increase my bid by $7 dollars and it would be accepted. I closed the browser and started over. I next bid Dublin and Columbus west at 3* and increased by $3 to $31. I was rejected and offered a rebid at $8 more. I exited again and restarted bidding Dublin and Grove City at 3* for $32. This was accepted and was $6 more than my first bid but $6 less than what was asked of me in my last bid. I can't understand why they asked for $7 to $8 for my rebids at $28 through $32. I expected the rebid that priceline demanded to go down as my bids increased. In fact most perplexing is the rebid offer of $7 more at $28 and then when I bid $31 it asked for $8 more to rebid.
