Just an FYI I have pricelined rooms at Hyatt Mission Bay many times and it is a wonderful Hotel with an awesome pool. However they tend to put PL customers in the old 2 story buildings not the large newer tower. You need to request the bay tower rooms otherwise they will put you in the old rooms that smell like mold and mildew, definately not 4* quality. Also depending on who is working the front desk you may get an attitude because you are a PL customer. Last time I was there I lucked out and I told them I have a mold allergy (which I do) and needed a room in the tower, they said they were sold out and gave me a Marina front suite room. It was awesome, handicap accessible but that wasn't an issue.
If i can get a decent express deal price i'd like to stay tonight 1/3 and checkout 1/5. Otherwise I see if I only stay 1/4 checkout 1/5 the price is lower then currently on express deals.
I have been turned away with a family of 4! So they can do it. The hotel was horrible and treated price line customers badly. Others have reviewed the days inn Buena park, ca badly for being told they could not stay because the hotel only had 1 bed and they would not let more than 2 stay. I had to call priceline who called the hotel and it was a big mess. I was able to get my $ back but only with a big fight. Every other time I've used priceline. I have not had issues.
I am looking to get a 3 star in El Segundo/Manhattan Beach area. Has anyone recently used this deal? If so what hotel did you get? I would like the Hyatt Place and know that it's a possibility. I was just curious as to how many people have used this recently and what they have gotten. TIA!
