  1. We were really hesitant to purchase an All-Inclusive through Priceline Express Deals, but it turned out great! It really turned out to cost only what we paid on Priceline (w/no extra or hidden charges). An all-inclusive for $213 a night for two people was a GREAT deal! We even got the free $1500 resort credit for booking over 5 nights. Tips: We called a week in advance and requested a room close to the lobby, so we didn't have to walk so far (the resort is really big) and they accomodated our request. We brought 32oz. drink cups from home and had at least 10 people ask where we bought them from b/c if you don't bring your own drink cups they serve you drinks in like a 8-10oz. cup. We did our research and knew upfront that you pay 16% out of pocket in taxes for any of the resort credits that you use. You can only use $300 in resort credit towards the spa. We used the maximum amount of spa resort credits and got a couples massage for 50 min and a pedicure for only $48 out of pocket in taxes (pretty great deal). We had a horrific rental car experience, we will never get a rental car again in Mexico (the rental car company takes your credit card, makes a carbon copy, and insists that you sign it without an amount listed on the slip - giving an open credit card slip without an amount is very sketchy, they won't give you the car w/o it, we went to the gas station and in Mexico they don't let you pump your own gas - I gave the guy my credit card and told him to put $20 in and he tried to charge my credit card $55 - thank god my credit card company declined the charge as fraud), we didn't get pulled over but a TON of people staying at the resort did, the rental cars have huge bumper stickers on the back indicating that they are rentals, the cops target those rental cars and there are cops EVERYWHERE with rental cars pulled over).
  2. Yes, restaurant was there too! I'm interested to see whether we get the $1,500 resort credit they are offering right now for 5+ night bookings and what type of room we get. There doesn't appear to be alot of reviews online on the expereince of priceline customers. More to come!
  3. Bought the 4.5 star in Riviera Maya North (Puerto Morelos) for $213 on PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals. We got the Moon Palace. Listed as: All Inclusive Free Breakfast Free Internet Free Parking Swimming Pool Business Center Gym
  4. I started bidding for 4* hotels at Country Club Plaza and bid up to $85 but was denied. I gave up on Country Club Plaza and started bidding for a 4* at Crown Center at $60 and bid multiple times using free rebids. My bid of $76 was rejected without a counter-offer. My bid of $78.00 was accepted. Offer Price: $78.00 Tax & Fees: $22.00 Total: $100.00
  5. I bid for a Full-size car with pick-up/drop-off at SFB (Sanford-Central Florida Regional Airport) for dates 12/6/13-12/9/13. I bid up dollar-by-dollar and started bidding at $13/day until it was accepted at $21. Offer Price: $21 Number of Days: 3 Subtotal: $63 Taxes & Fees: $33.87 Total Charges: $96.87
  6. I started bidding at $60 and it was immediately accepted. Room Cost: $60.00 Taxes & Fees: $14.65 Total: $74.65
  7. Room Price: $44 Taxes & Fees: $15.27 Coupon Code SUMMER for 5% discount: ($2.20) Total: $57.07 The 5th floor rooms are recently renovated and are really nice! Our request for free breakfast coupons was denied.
  8. Free parking No free breakfast (we asked for a free upgrade that included breakfast and it was denied)
  9. We signed up for the Hyatt rewards program online and then when we checked in we asked whether we could get free breakfast coupons. They added two free breakfast buffets to our room and then told us to charge the breakfast buffets to the room. The breakfast buffet alone for 2 people was ~$40 with tax, so this ended up being a great deal! Parking was about a block and a half away and I think it was approximately $6 for overnight parking.
  10. I started bidding for 4* hotels in areas: Disney Maingate Celebration, Universal Orlando Resort Area-Intl. Drive North, and Sea World-Intl. Drive Convention Center at $45 and went up dollar by dollar (slow and tedious-using free rebids) until I won the Renaissance Orlando at Seaworld. Room Rate: $79 Taxes & Fees: $18.27 Total: $97.27 per night
