  1. I've stayed here before so I am happy with my win. As always, I used the PRICELINE link before bidding.
  2. I started bidding at $80 and increased my bid by $5 until I got it for $100. As always I used the PRICELINE link first.
  3. Normally $239/night. The amenities before I booked said: Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Fitness Center Then after I booked it said: Free Internet (in Public Area) Spa Non-Smoking Gym Restaurant Handicap Accessible Business Center I think it's a little misleading that they say free internet but then once you book they say "in public area". From the reviews it looks like that will be an extra $12.95 but it was still a good deal. As always I used the Priceline link first.
  4. I started bidding at $110 and increased by $5 increments until I was accepted for $125. I'm definitely excited about this stay! As usual, I used the Priceline link first.
  5. I know it's a little late but I figured I should post this anyway. I got the deal last minute so I don't remember what the amenities were. The regular price that night was $189 so it was a great deal. I used the PRICELINE link first as always.
  6. I saved 53% and I've stayed here before so I'm happy with the win. :) As always I used the Priceline link before bidding.
  7. Amenities listed were: Indoor or Outdoor Pool Restaurant Fitness Center Free Parking Free Internet I'm very happy with the deal I got. As always I used the Priceline links first.
  8. The hotel was awesome! They upgraded me to a large updated suite with a river view even though I got a great deal on Priceline.
  9. I booked this Express deal rather than bidding because I was pretty sure it was going to be the Royal Sonesta Hotel Boston and I wanted a hotel with a pool and hot tub. The regular rate is $169 so I saved over 40%! The guaranteed amenities were: Indoor or Outdoor Pool Restaurant Fitness Center Business Center (there is also free wifi but that was not listed) As always, I used the site's PRICELINE link. :)
  10. Sure, the amenities were: Fitness Center Free Internet The bed choices were: Studio King Bed - Studio King Bed
  11. This hotel is actually in the "Union Square - East Village" area but that was not an option. I have been watching this express deal for weeks. It started at $289, dropped to $256, and this morning it dropped to $227. I tried bidding at $195 first but was rejected so I took the PRICELINE EXPRESS deal. I know better deals can be had for this date but I really wanted a hotel in the Union Square - East Village area because of the proximity to Irving Plaza. I'm very happy with the purchase!! As always, I used the PRICELINE link.
  12. I wanted a room at Mount Airy Casino Resort so I kept bidding for a 4 star in Tannersville (casino amenity was shown). I bid up to $130 and was rejected so I decided to take a Priceline Express deal for $147/night. I also used a 10% coupon I got for signing up for their e-mails which brought it down to $132.30 before tax. Being a Friday night, I figured I wasn't going to get much lower than that so I am happy with my purchase! It is normally $199/night for that date. I used the PRICELINE link before purchasing. Also, this is not currently on the Hotel List. The amenities are: Restaurant, Casino
  13. The meatless option sounds good. We'll have to try it! I'll start a new topic when I book NYC. Luckily I'll have a little more to spend with the savings on this one.
  14. Thanks for the suggestions! I'm a vegetarian myself but my boyfriend loves Philly cheesesteaks. I'll definitely check with the hotel first about walking. We're planning to stay in NYC the following night so I'm working on that bid next.
  15. I saw a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for $110 so I decided to start my bid at $85 and it was accepted!!! The regular price is showing $299 for that night. I'm very pleased with the win and the hotel is only about a half mile from a concert I'm attending at the Theater of Living Arts, though I'm not sure if it can be walked as I'm unfamiliar with this city. As always I used the Priceline link. :D
  16. I needed a quick place to stay while traveling so I booked this Priceline.Express deal at the last minute. The amenities were: Indoor or outdoor pool Pets allowed Fitness center Free internet Business center Guest rating 9.0 Save 50% or more Parking was $6/night with in/out privileges. I didn't bring any pets but I noticed that it was $50 per stay. I didn't have time to use any amenities but the hotel was very quiet and the room was nice, clean, and updated considering it's a historic hotel. I am very satisfied with the purchase. As always I used the PRICELINE links.
  17. I was rejected at $45 and then won it for $50! The regular rate for that night is $125. As always, I used your Priceline link.
  18. I'm driving from upstate NY to Myrtle Beach and wanted something halfway between. I saw a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for what looked to be this hotel for $80 so I started bidding at $50, then $55, and got it for $60!! Regular price is $124/night. As always, I used the PRICELINE link before bidding.
  19. I ended up bidding and won the Courtyard Myrtle Beach Barefoot Landing for $61/night for 4 rooms!! It says I saved 63%. By the way, my mom could not see that express deal for $70/night on her computer either. It is still showing up on my computer (firefox on a mac if that matters).
  20. Yes, I do still see it. I am searching for: Myrtle Beach, SC 7/25 - 7/27 4 Rooms The PRICELINE EXPRESS amenities are: Free internet Indoor or outdoor pool Free parking Restaurant Business center Fitness center
  21. We have 8 people going to Myrtle Beach 7/25 - 7/27 so we need 4 rooms. Right now there is a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for a 3 star in North Myrtle Beach for $70/night (55% savings). I just started looking so is it better to wait? We would like to stay 3 nights if we can get the price lower but we'd rather not go below 3 stars. Also, is this most likely the Courtyard Myrtle Beach Barefoot Landing? Thank you in advance.
  22. You're right, it was a great deal! The rooms were very big with a microwave and mini fridge and the free breakfast was a plus.
  23. I was expecting the Courtyard by Marriott but ended up with Springhill Suites By Marriott Scranton Wilkes-Barre which is not on the hotel list. It looks just as nice if not nicer so I am happy with the win. Prices are showing $119 on their website so I saved 56%. I was rejected at $50. As always, I used the PRICELINE link before bidding.
  24. I went up to $170/night including Beacon Hill, Boston Common, Boston Harbor Front, Copley Square, Quincy Market with no success. Finally I decided to lower my bid to $155 and add the Seaport District and my bid was accepted! This hotel is normally at least $300/night for those dates. The total came to $366.34. PS - I clicked on the PRICELINE link before bidding.
  25. I just wanted to follow up on the hotel. I've read that when you bid on Priceline, hotels will give you their less desirable rooms but that definitely was not the case. We were given a spacious corner room with views on both sides. The room was clean and modern with a very comfortable bed. We couldn't have asked for anything better, especially for that price. The man at the reception even commented about what a great rate we got. This was my first time using Priceline but it definitely won't be my last.
