  3. To answer your question, she really wants the Venetian, but I think getting the Palazzo wouldn't be a tragedy. There are two listings in that area that both show $116/night via bidding helper and they both have the same amenities which are: FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Resort, Suite, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower
  4. I'm looking at this hotel in Las Vegas checking in on 1/1/18 and out 1/2/18. Any idea what it is? HOTWIRE says "The last person got the Venetian". My wife is dying to stay at the Venetian so I need to try to get that one of possible. But I see that the Venetian resort fee on their site is $39 whereas here it's listed as $44. Does that mean it's not the Venetian? 5-star Casino Hotel in North Strip - Grand Canal Shoppes area | 95% 1 Room, 2 Adults, 0 Children Mon, Jan 01 - Tue, Jan 02 Free parking, Resort, Suite, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry $127.00 per night x 1 night x 1 room $127.00 Tax recovery charges + fees $30.37 Hotwire total due today (USD) $157.37 Resort fee due at hotel $44.00 Trip total (USD) $201.37

  7. Well the Mirage doesn't have free parking so I think I will pass on that. What do you think about this one on Hotwire? 5-star Condo in Center Strip - Fountains area Fri, Dec 22 - Sun, Dec 24 1 Room, 2 Adults 75% recommended (59 reviews) (2001+ reviews) $88 per night Book soon! 8. That's fantastic info, thanks! I like the last option, have stayed at the Mirage before and liked it. Do you think prices will change any over time or should I lock it in now?
  9. I'm going to spend two nights before Christmas in LV and want to stay on the Strip, preferably Central. Is this a very busy time? Should I take a deal now or just wait until a few months before? I'd like to book a 4* for around $100 per night with all fees included, is that's possible?
  10. That was the MarQueen. Very happy with the deal. Started through the HOTWIRE link. Thanks! Room $512.00 ($128.00 per night x 4 nights x 1 room) Taxes & fees $102.86 Trip total (USD) $614.86
  11. Thanks for that, you're right, why waste two hours a day traveling in and out to save $15? I'll book this and let you know what it is.
  12. Sounds right but I can't find the parking prices for the Marqueen. I will be driving in so I'll have to park a car and I'm trying to see how much more I'll have to pay to park. Any advice as far as staying out of downtown and using public transportation to get in versus staying downtown and paying $30-35 a night for parking? We'll be doing the top sightseeing things for Seattle which I don't know how many are downtown versus out where we could drive and park at the attraction.
  13. Can you ID this hotel for July 2-6. $128: 3.5-star Hotel in Downtown - Queen Anne, Belltown, Seattle Center, Space Needle area Complimentary Free breakfastFree Internet Amenities Boutique hotelGolf nearbyKitchenetteRestaurant(s)Smoke-free roomsSpa services Bed Choice
  14. You were correct, it is the BEST WESTERN Bowery Hanbee Hotel so I upgraded from Queen to King plus got free breakfast and saved $250. Excellent! I bought the trip insurance for $35 so that cut into the savings but still a great deal. Thanks! I used your PRICELINE link.
  15. I have booked the BEST WESTERN Bowery Hanbee Hotel for $207 refundable and I'm wondering if I can do much better with Priceline, what do you think? I'd want a 3* or better somewhere between Chinatown and the middle of Central Park roughly. I could cancel this hotel and re-book it non-refundable to upgrade to King Bed from Queen and pick up a free breakfast for $2 more a night so I think I would do that if you don't think I can do better bidding.
  16. I booked 3 rooms for one night. 3 rooms, 1 night Hotwire hot Rate Room@ $39.00/night $117.00 Tax recovery charges & fees: $23.21 Subtotal: $140.21 Amenities Free Parking Free Breakfast Free Internet Pet friendly Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center Self service laundry Used the HOTWIRE link above to book.
  17. This is what was in my confirmation email: Amenities Free Internet Boutique Hotel Self service laundry Internet access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Roll-in shower
  18. This stay is over the Memorial Day holiday and I was worried about getting a good deal so I booked this now. I think it's a good price and very happy with the Normandy, seems like everyone who stays there likes it based on Tripadvisor. Amenities on Hotwire showed Free Internet, Boutique Hotel, and Self service laundry. Total for 8 days was $1,004.19. There was a rating for the hotel by Hotwire customers (over 95% rated it highly). Used the HOTWIRE link here to book.
  19. I took the advice of another winner and started bidding at $30 moving up $2 each time and using the 9 rebid zones for Denver. Got the win at $38. Started from the PRICELINE link above. Love this site!
  20. That's a good suggestion, I think I will do that. I am not picky about where I stay but when 9 out of 10 people complain about cockroaches and bed bugs I get worried. I'm not familiar with Priceline's policies, is it possible to get some refund after I check in and then leave?
  21. I bid $30 for a 2* in Memphis Airport (MEM) rejected, added the Memphis East zone and bid $35 ejected, added Memphis Southeast and bid $37 rejected. Went back to the Memphis Airport (MEM) zone and $42 for a 2.5* and was accepted. I probably could have done a better job with this bidding but I really wanted to be in the airport zone as we are going to Graceland which is nearby. Unfortunately, when checking TripAdvisor, I see this Radisson has the worst reviews I've ever seen for a hotel. every single person says DON'T STAY HERE!!! so now I may have to stay somewhere else and waste this win. Used the PRICELINE link here. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $42.00 Subtotal: $84.00 Taxes & Fees: $21.42 Total Charges*: $105.42
  22. I bid $30 for a 3* in the Metairie - Harahan zone rejected, added New Orleans East re-bid zone bid $33 rejected, added Garden District re-bid zone bid $36 rejected. Started over and bid $37 for a 3.5* in the Metairie - Harahan zone rejected. Waited 24 hours and during that period received a $50 Bonus Cash coupon from Priceline so I then bid $35 and with the coupon it added $10 to $45 in the Metairie - Harahan zone for 3* and won a 3.5*. Nice hotel but no free breakfast or internet. I'll never understand why you pay more for a better hotel and then you don't get free breakfast or internet. I say Boycott all hotels that don't have free breakfast and internet!! :) Offer Price Summary Bonus Cash Per Room, Per Night: $10.00 Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $35.00 Total Offer Price Per Room, Per Night with Bonus: $45.00 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Total Charges to your Credit Card Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $35.00 Subtotal: $105.00 Taxes & Fees: $29.82 Total Charges*: $134.82
  23. Looking for a cheap place to stay, checking in late and out early for one night, near the airport. I bid $32 for 2* at the airport rejected, added Metairie and bid $34 rejected, added Garden District (was pretty sure I wouldn't get anything there although it does have 2*) and bid $36 and was accepted. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $36.00 Subtotal: $36.00 Taxes & Fees: $12.86 Total Charges*: $48.86 Started bidding with PRICELINE link.
  24. I bid $32 and was rejected. Priceline offered to let me rebid with the same input for $42. I passed on that offer, added New Orleans East zone, and bid $35 and was accepted. Bookit.com is offering the St. Charles with free parking and a free Battlefield cruise for $69 so I didn't want to go much higher that $35 with parking being $30/night probably but I expected I might get the St.Louis and I think it is quite a bit nicer than the St. Charles. I can buy the Battlefield cruise separately if I want to go. I used the PRICELINE link here to bid. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $35.00 Subtotal: $105.00 Taxes & Fees: $24.69 Total Charges*: $129.69
