I was considering a $300 Express Deal I saw the same $272 deal listed at the bottom of the screen as I was about to check out for $300. It said "People looking at your offer also looked at these ($272)." When I clicked it it took me to the offer I was looking for and I was temporarily happy until I got to the final checkout and I got the error message that the deal was no longer available. I will just make do with the $300 deal.

I had my eyes and mouse on a Priceline Express Deal for a 4.5* hotel in Wailea-Makena that was in the mid $200s range, (total cost was $931). I didn't want to book until my flight was confirmed. Long story short, I went to confirm my flight and when I went back to Priceline I couldn't find the deal anymore. I did use the betterbidding link plus 5% discount to get that price. Do you have any tips on how to get a deal to come back? I know I am SOL but wanted to ask just in case you've seen this before and had any advice. I tried naming my own price to something close but no luck.

I used https://www.biddinghelper.com to search for a hotel room and bid and won on my first attempt for a 4.5* hotel in the Indian Wells, Palm Desert, La Quinta area. Details below, I see the resort fee will be collected at checkout. I am really happy to get this rate as I saw the usual rate was $294 per night. Need help identifying the following hotels that show up as PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals: 4* Palm Springs Area Hotel $169 per night Guest rating 7+ (amenities pool, pet friendly, restaurant, gym, business center)3.5* Palm Springs Area Hotel $166 per night guest rating 7+ (amenities pet friendly, restaurant, gym, free wifi, business center)The Express Deal prices are significantly lower than what is available in list view I'm having a hard time figuring this out. Changed my bid to $105, $110, changed dates around and added a non 5* location, got the Vdara at $115. Looks like this was the hotel being offered as a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for $120. Just a note, I got a little worried that Priceline calls it Las Vegas Strip Vicinity South and BetterBidding calls it Las Vegas Strip South so I wasn't sure if these were the right areas. Hello There - I used the link for Priceline via betterbidding.com. We would like to stay at one of the 5* hotels on the North/South Strip for 6/27-6/30. First bid was for LV North at $100 Second bid, added LV South at $105 I see two Express deals I would be willing to consider if I knew what the hotels were: LV Strip Vicinity South $120 per night *Indoor or Outdoor Pool *Restaurant *Business Center *Fitness Center *I noticed it is not a casino OR LV Strip North $142 per night *Indoor or Outdoor pool *Free Parking *Restaurant *Business Center *Casino *Fitness Center *Bed Choice available I'd like to try to re-up my bid to $110 or $115 but I have to add more areas. Would I be safe if I added one of the areas that does not have a 5* hotel? Thanks for the help!

First bid of $55 for a 4+ star property in Huntington Beach-Newport Beach was accepted. I was hoping to get the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach but got the Newport Beach property instead. Reviews are kind of low on tripadvisor but the rate on Hyatt's website runs about $150-210 per night so that makes me feel a little better. Hi - Can anyone offer help or advice on bidding on a 5* or 4* hotel room (Las Vegas Strip) for 6/2 - 6/4 (Fri - Sun)? What should my expectations be for rates? Ideally I'd like $150 or less, but I'm not sure if that is reasonable for a weekend. Thanks!

Just wanted to give you an update from our stay. The Marriott was very nice, in a prime location right across from Waikiki Beach. Upon checking in we were upgraded to a partial ocean view room on the 13th (bad luck?) floor. The room was spacious enough and each bed had 4 fluffy down pillows each, down comforter and a featherbed under the sheets. I contacted the hotel right after I won the bid and requested a nonsmoking room, double beds and a crib. We later realized we got a smoking room (ashtrays on the lanai and in the bathroom) but we didn't mind because it didn't smell like smoke and our neighbors weren't smoking (that we could tell). After we dropped off our stuff and ran out for lunch, we found the crib waiting for us in the room. The Marriott has several restaurants and shops on site, including 2 ABC stores which is really convenient. There are activities and events in the hotel everyday and there are live performances (singers/dancers) every evening. We really enjoyed our stay, the Marriott is a very family friendly hotel (we have 3 small children) and we will definitely stay here on our next trip to Hawaii. (Which will be sometime this year since it was cloudy and raining most of the time we were there!)

I wanted to try to get the Hilton Hawaiian Village for under $200 so I started out with resorts only for Waikiki North and South for $150 but got rejected. I rebid with Ilihani area and was rejected again. Rebid again by adding 4* hotels and changed bid to $155 and was successful. I'm very happy with the Marriott because I was originally booked (independent of Priceline) at the Ohana East (probably considered a 2*) for $156 per night. I called the Marriott directly and asked for 2 double beds and a crib as we are traveling with 2 small children and a baby. They were happy to accommodate my request and noted that the crib is free of charge. Offer price: $155 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 2 Subtotal: $310 Taxes and Service Fees: $48.45 Total Charges: $358.45 Thanks for this forum - it helped.
