Thanks for your assistance guys, never noticed the BiddingHelper.com tool until this trip (great tool). My buddy I'm going with now wants 2 queens for sure so that pretty much knocks out priceline and the cheap rate on Aria (as 2 queens is 202) unless you think it shouldn't be an issue upon arrival by just booking run of house and rolling the dice. Time to keep my head on a swivel looking 12 times a day :) Also I always use your guys liks to book, really appreciate the service this site offers!

My only reluctance with Aria is it's probably the only hotel on the strip I've never been it where as I know what I'm getting with every other hotel on the list. IE is there a reason it's so significantly lower type questions pop up in my head. Make sense?

I've probably been to Vegas 20 times so I'm fairly familiar as well, just know you guys are really good at the game. Really looking at 4-5* Casino Prefer 2 queens (but can do king and rollaway or upgrade to queen later if we have to) Like a decent pool Thinking PH, Paris, Ceasers, Bellagio, Cosmo, Aria type places Budget $800-$1200 though flexible so $200-$300 a night with fees (cheaper for 4* but willing to go to high end for nicer 5*).

Ended up with the Sir Frances Drake as you had stated, thanks for the help! For those ever looking in SF, this hotel while not bad even with the old charm is 3* at best though for frequent travelers and the % are misleading that hotwire gives, but hotwire hot rates they basically give you the big FU when you tell them their rating system doesn't add up sadly. We actually ended up at the Fairmont the last night which was much nicer. Wish I'd have just ponied up the $100 more a night while we were there int he first place.

I'm still only seeing each of the two I listed before for 8/12-8/17 and nothing close to what you mentioned. (just realized I had put the 16th on the original post)... apparently tuesday night is driving my prices up?

Okay looking at: PRICELINE EXPRESS deal in Union Square East Knob Hill for those dates. Amenities are: Pets allowed, Non smoking, Restaurants & Business center for $189 a night. 4* 7/10 guest rating, bed choices. HOTWIRE 4* 90% recommend Boutique Hotel in Union Square East same dates same price $189 Amenities are: Non smoking, Restaurants Free Internet, Pet friendly & Business center. I assume, maybe that they are the same but the taxes & fees are way higher on HOTWIRE. was wondering if you guys knew what they were. Prices continue to go up, then came back down some so I feel I should maybe get it done. Thanks for all your guys help!

Was hoping to keep it below $225 per night if possible which with it being heavy tourist season out there possibly forces the 4*. The Financial district is one of the 4 places we tried. Trying to decide if the longer I hold off if prices will go up... or down

I know I've been more specific in the past but this time I'm just looking for a nice hotel/good deal in a particular area. I'll be in SF for my sisters wedding 8/12-8/16, I've been bidding 200-225 for 4.5 or 5* for a few days in Financial dist, South of market Moscone & both Union Square and not had luck yet. I'll gladly take recommendations and would be willing to stay 4* as long as it's nice 4* and because I don't know the city like most I'm open to all suggestions that fellow bidders and the site may have! Experienced on both sites if you have better recommendations on either. Thanks for any help all!

After prices had been a roller coaster the last 2 weeks (and I'm bummed because I could have gotten for $78 a week ago) I ended up with Trop accepting $90 priceline bid I've increased the last 3 days as I watched prices rise up and down the strip (and my buddy was too cheap to spend $120 which ended up going up significantly). there's flexibility as far as where as long as it's the 2.5-3* we want to go for the best price between the sites.

any of the 2 1/2 or 3* (that's all they basically have) last year at about the same time I think I got it for like $60 and ended up at the crown plaza if I remember right. Wondering where I should be bidding/looking this time.

finally got priceline to take 4* south strip $109 for 9/19-9/23. With the 5% discount it's about $475, staying on the south strip the #'s have been really jumpy that weekend. Just as I was about to settle on the hotwire Vdara deal it started jumping way high as did other things this weekend. They kind of came back down (not as far) so I ended up with this.

been bidding various ways for weeks. Finally got them to accept $109 so with the 5% off sale got ot for about $475 for the 4 nights.

5* was shot down with a $133 a night bid (still $26 cheaper with stay than the HOTWIRE hot Deal) 4* was shot down with an $85 bid, looks like 2 more nights of bidding then just giving into the Vdara (or 4 seasons) HOTWIRE hot deal for $131 a night ($617 with taxes)

I figured it was, I'd rather not end up there, not sure how they rate them a 4*... time to put in my nightly bids
