Thanks as always for your assistance. I looked over both options via your links and prefer Aloft. However, the total with the extra fees Hotwire adds actually makes it a bit more expensive than if I use my AAA discount rate Aloft offers, while also leaving open the option to cancel at last minute, if necessary. I guess the discount in this case is not enough to make up the difference of the Hotwire fees.

Hi Looking at HOTWIRE. A couple options in "West Downtown Tallahasee" I'd like to stay walking distance to downtown and FSU campus and this area looks like best option. I only see two boutique hotels in that area, Aloft and Governor's Inn, though not sure if they are considered 3-star. The other option is even better rate and higher recommendation, not sure if that could be the Doubletree, Sheraton? Looked over previous hotel listings on your forums, not seeing exact matches. As always, any thoughts appreciated. Details below. Date of stay, Monday night Feb 20 $159 3-Star Hotel in West Downtown Tallahasee area. 95% recommended. Amazing! Noticed that for the first property, the full amenities did not list "hi speed" internet, just internet, so maybe it's not Chicago Athletic?
