Thanks for the help, I got shipped out of internet range for a week so I am just getting back to this now.  When I go back to priceline through the link above I find a 4 star downtown southwest for $91 a night 3 rooms for 2 nights.

Success, used the Priceline link from the website to book.  Ended up with 2 rooms at the Renaissance - 172.26 USD, for the two rooms including a 5% discount that is being offered.

I have usually ended up with the Sheraton when staying downtown west through HOTWIRE, which is about the area I would like to be, just don't like the price yet.

Thank you for the help.  I will try and remember to keep all the info in each post as you suggest.

I believe that both of those hotels are a little to far away from where I would like to be.  I will keep watching using the Hotwire link to see if the price on the West hotel drops.

Hi there,

I used the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links through the board to book a hotel for a stay July 12-14 2013. This was the weekend of the Toronto Indy so the prices were high. Tried using the links for PRICELINE but could not get a bid that was under the HOTWIRE price. Used the search function of the board to find amenities that looked similar to those I was seeing and took the chance. Worked out well. Stay was good, reasonable price but could have been better had I not been there during the indy. Thanks for the board guys.
