I have not had luck finding the easy tab. $150 was a figure for other options, not a cap on expenditures. For a true 5 star, I will go higher. Thank you for the Mayfair tip. That's an excellent price as Hotwire is adding way too much for taxes, making the prices ridiculous.

after getting off the phone with HOTWIRE, both hotels are the RIU Palace Riveria Maya. Same dates, different price points. I bought based on my last stay at the RIU Mexico and the exact same ammenities. It no longer matters, they will only guarantee a hotel in the shaded area, regardles of ammenities listed. My booking is resolved to satisfaction, but just be aware.

Correction- the one 4.5 star showing for 9/1-9/5 isa $211 a night showing the second set of ammenities. I believe the RIU palaces are the only 4.5 * resorts in Playacar.

The other 4.5 star is also showing for 9/5-9/9 at $179 a night with the first listed set of ammenities

You're right and that one is the Sandos If I change the dates to 9/5 - 9/9 one 4.5 shows with the secend set of ammenities I posted at $209 per night. This EXACT list of ammenties did belong to the RIU Palace Mexico. I really don't want to gamble on this though - may have to pay travel site prices at $247. Will keep you posted if I buy and I always go through this site to bid. Thank you.

Follow up report: It was not a disappointment at all! In fact I gave it 5 stars. Out of London, but a quick 20 minute train with the train station being right at the hotel. Big room, low price for London, PLUS Greenwich is a fantastic area on it's own to explore. Bought an Oyster card and traveled all over London for 20 pounds. This hotel was quiet and comforting with excellent service.

The first list of amenities is what I bid on. The second set is what appeared on my invoice. I would say it's an "or" situation. Also, correction: I did not receive the Novatel Excel - but the Novatel Greenwich. I did place my bid through this site.

Pay close attention as the area is across the river by miles from the Canary Wharf. I'm not unhappy, Hotwire has never let me down and the reviews are great, it is just not in the area I expected.

Warning: This is the second win with Hotwire that is NOT in the area they advertise. First in Barcelona, and now London. Canary Wharf id not exactly Greenwich. I have sent them an email and am waiting reply. Not to say I'm unhappy with this pick based on reviews, I was expecting a Hilton or at least the Novatel in Canary Wharf.
