My gf has an accepted bid for the Biltmore Millennium. June 20-22.$185/nt
No real needs/expectations so far. Saw a good deal. I’ll update the thread with any further developments
Alas,it appears as though this deal has vanished
Thereuare comes through yet again. I forgot about BiddingHelper.com (haven’t been on here in awhile) and I only have my phone for internet right now and the property didn’t show up when I borrowed a lap top.
Gotta be the same. Thank you
When I search on PL mobile for June 20- June 23 I see a 5* PRICELINE EXPRESS deal in downtown LA for $193/nt.
Guest score: 70%
Bed Choice Available
Ammenities:pets allowed,fitness centre,restaurant,no smoking,free internet.
Any idea which property this might be?
Thanks
BD
Thanks thereuare. Do you have a link for the better bidding car search? The link provided seems to be hotels only
Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but I am getting the NYOP not available message.Searching for cars at LAX March 7-12. From a US IP. Strange.Never seen this before.
We ended up going with the $130 PRICELINE EXPRESS deal above and it is in fact the Westin Bonaventure. Many thanks
Or this one:
4* Hollywood Good 8+ 1200 reviews

My best guess is the Loews
Price before taxes and discount code was $126/nt. Amenities:
Free Internet (in Room)
Pet Friendly
Outdoor Pool
Spa
Shuttle
Non-Smoking

Restaurant
Handicap Accessible
Business Center
No nearby zones are of interest. Also seeing this one in downtown LA:
4* Downtown 8+ Save 52%
$130/nt
Free Internet Business Center Fitness Center Non Smoking
Pets Allowed Restaurant Swimming Pool
Also guessing the Westin on this one.Any thoughts?
Ok,
Last leg of our trip and I could use a bit of help.I'm seeing a 4* PLE deal in downtown LBC. Dates are June25-27.
Price - $116/nt
Very good 8+
Free Internet, Business Center, Fitness Center, Non Smoking,
Pets Allowed, Restaurant, Swimming Pool
My guess is the Westin which has some pretty negative reviews recently including protests out front for worker's rights.
Update,
Decided to break things up as prices for Long Beach went way up since I last posted.Would have loved to stay at the Hyatt Centric but ended up getting The Duke
in Newport Beach for $119.40/nt using the BetterBidding PLE discount code.
Seems to be a good price for this place and it's close to the event we are attending.I think next time I might bid on Costa Mesa as the Crowne Plaza seemed to be available in a PLE deal but I chose Newport Beach however we ended up near the airport not the beach.Still, the Duke is only about 15mins from the beach.
Next year if I see the Hyatt Centric(or the other Hyatt in LB) for less than $150/nt I will jump on it.Next we'll be trying for Hollywood/Brentwood/Beverly Hills for the 25th to the 27th.
Once again thanks to this board for the help and the discount code.
If this is the Kimpton Palomar I've stayed there. I thought it was great and it's been renovated since so you're probably in for a nice stay.
Ok,I have another one I'm looking at on HOTWIRE in Long Beach.
6/23-6/27 $125/nt
FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower
Any guesses here?Perhaps the Hyatt Centric? Sorry if I'm being a PITA.
Yes and no. I don't like the resort fee but the proximity to the beach is a good thing. I think we might end up getting a room in OC to be near the event at Irvine Lake for two nights then another room in the LA area. Thanks for the help as always.
Sorry,I rarely use HW
Ok how bout this one from Hotwire:
4* Boutique Hotel in HB Area
$154/night (excludes $25/nt resort fee)
90% recommended
pet friendly
boutique
near beach
smoke free rooms
fitness centre
restaurant(s)
business centre
internet access
golf nearby
Seems a bit low for the Hyatt
Well,I used the PRICELINE link here and found the deal.and yes it is in fact the Radisson. I think this is a good deal. Thanks!
Pets Allowed
Business Center
Restaurant
Free Internet
Indoor or Outdoor Pool
Fitness Center
No Smoking Rooms/Facilities
The location(s) works as does the price. Still considering
options. I'll update the thread with whatever we choose. I would definitely prefer the location of the
Normandie compared to the Radisson. The price seems very good though.
Anyone have any thoughts on the Radisson or Normandie? I wouldn't expect much at that price but you never know.
