Good rate for DC!

Must be the season? I started low around $55 and went up by $5 increments, for the most part. I tried 3* and 3.5* Tanglewood and North/Airport as I went. NO hits until $93. Way higher than I expected based on the previous wins.

Got nothing for 3* at $50 in any Macon area. Dropped to 2.5 stars and $45 and got this.

Hotel was nice. Area is nice with plenty of restaurants. Beware, the hotel has a nightclub in the lobby, so it could be loud if you're room is nearby. We didn't have a problem. Check in was exceedingly slow and we arrived late. Only one person at the desk and a line of people. Otherwise nice stay.

Nice, convenient, hotel. Free parking was a plus since we were only passing through town.

I was trying for 3* or 3.5*, but couldn't seem to get anything in multiple areas around Durham. I kept upping my price and landed at $65 and was automatically upgraded to 4* with the Carolina Inn. What a deal! BEAUTIFUL, classy hotel. We loved it!
