Hello, Please could somebody give some advise on what they think the following 2* hotel in Historic Downtown Charleston: - Oct 20 to Oct 23 - $186 per night - 75% Recommended / 8 out of 10 - Free Internet (Green), Pet Friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Pool(s) - Restaurant(s), Business Center I need to stay somewhere downtown and would love to try and decide if this is worthwhile to save a good fortune! Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Yellowdog, Didn't think a reply to my last request would have been useful as I didn't use hotwire in the end. Have included a full reply, I hope this is useful. When clicking the 'see more' button at the check out screen the amenity list also included 'roll in shower', which isn't displayed on the first screen. Any help thoroughly appreciated. Regards Rob

Apologies for the delay here. In the end I was concerned about the hotel not having Parking and therefore booked directly. The Doubletree by Hilton London Heathrow had Parking and I booked at a rate of £99 (approx $150). The hotel provided a very professional service, and happily changed my room after a couple of hours (a king bed was two pushed together and uncomfortable in the middle, queen is better). I would recommend for people looking for a decent affordable place for Heathrow, even though it is a little further than most hotels.

Hi thereuare, Thanks very much for the suggestions. Having had a look I'd agree with you on 1. As for 3. I was hopeful it could be the Intercontinental Park Lane, but both that and the Churchill have rack rates of upwards of $600 per night. Do you really get such big discounts through hotwire? If it is a 90% chance it is one of these two then I would definitely opt for the deal!! All advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rob
