  1. Booked Sheraton University City using PRICELINE Name your own price for $88 per night.
  2. I think this may be the Fairfield Inn and Suites since it has a restaurant, I would really like the Residence Inn Boston Cambridge. Priceline Express Deal 3 star Cambridge East - Charlestown Area April 8 one night $104/night Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Free Breakfast No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Please help me identify this hotel. Will probably book it either way (using your link) because the price is right.
  3. I'm not sure I will continue with priceline, If I do I will try tomorrow for a 2* or 2.5* at the same price, although I don't believe there are any in that neighborhood. If I don't I'll give up staying in town and book something further out with free parking using transparent booking. I'll let you know. Thanks.
  4. I was doing research for someone else. They ended up booking the Doubletree Hilton for $150 per night using Expedia.
  5. Yes, I do have an upcoming trip. I will use Priceline and your PRICELINE links. My dates are March 30 to April 2. I would really like the Sheraton University City. I plan to bid tonight. There is a 3.5 star express deal for $97 that I suspect is the Sheraton which comes out to $357 with taxes. I'd really like it it be $300 with taxes because I have to pay for parking as well.
  6. On Priceline name your own price, I see open check boxes for 2 and 2.5 star hotels in University City, but I don't think there are any hotels with these ratings in this neighborhood. In fact I think there are only 3 hotels in the area, the Hilton (4*), the Sheraton (3.5*), and the Homewood Suites (3*). Could these be the B&Bs or youth hostels in the area? Thank you.
  7. Business center Fitness center Internet access Pet friendly Pool(s) Resort Restaurant(s) Self-service laundry Accessibility Accessible for visually impaired Universal Orlando - I-drive North area resort 70% recommended This hotel typically charges guests a resort fee of about USD18 per room per night 3.5 Tripadvisor rating 1501- 2000 tripadvisor reviews I thought this might be the Doubletree Hilton at the Entrance to Universal because of the resort fee but it actually has over 3000 TA reviews. Is the number of TA reviews usually accurate? Any other ideas as what it might be. Thanks.
  8. I ended up booking the Viva Wyndham Maya directly. I did not use priceline or hotwire. Thank you.
  9. Disregard, I figured out that Royal Pacific has free internet in the public areas, just not the rooms. So this probably is it. Sorry to bother you.
  10. I am hoping to get Loews Royal Pacific Resort for Jan 1 to Jan 5th using Priceline or Hotwire. Priceline has a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal 4* for these dates but it has free internet. Amenities are Internet, Pool, Pets, Restaurant, Business Center, Fitness Center. The price is $167. I am wondering if the free internet is a dead give-away that this is not a Universal Resort. Is the priceline hotel list for Name Your Own Price deals and Express Deals or does it just reflect Name Your Own Price deals? Is there a forum for Express Deals? Are Express Deal hotels usually available on Name Your Own Price? Thanks. Using the links!
  11. Great info! Now I have to decide whether to take buses or rent a car. Will the buses get you tourist spots like Xel-Ha, Xcaret, Tulum . . . etc? Also, have to decide between Cancun and Playa with my teenagers 13 and 17. When you say Cancun has a younger crowd, I assume you mean 18, 19, and 20 or 30 somethings as opposed to high schoolers.
  12. Thank you. Allegro reviews don't appeal to me. Based on the Hotel List and the some of the other posts, I am guessing that this one is Riu Lupita, but I'd appreciate it you would confirm my suspicion. My dates are the same. Although, I wouldn't book because because the price is the same on the RIU website so there is no benefit to using Hotwire. I am using the link to do my searches. I hope betterbidding benefits from searches as well bookings.
