We have stayed here before-good hotel. $60 plus $13.66 taxes and fees. Total $73.66 Bid 55, 57 for 2.5 or 3 star. Successful bid at 60 for 3 star.

Tried a number of times over the past few days. It hit this AM on third try try $90. I went as high as $96 today, bidding Westminster, Mayfair, Bloomsbury, and Kensington/Earls Court. I then started again with City and Regents Park. Wanted to get it done in case prices went up as we approach the Royal Wedding. Bid thr bb PRICELINE link.

Marriott London Kensington. 4/15-4/18 $101. Worked up to $101 from $85. with numerous rebids in all areas except Docklands and Islington. Still trying for 4/23-4/25. Bid thru the PRICELINE link at the bb site.

Thanks. That was my conclusion as well. Will not take it. Ramada has terrible reviews and we are not predisposed to Holiday Inns. In fact, we avoid them at all costs

IF you have a price that you can live with and a hotel that you like, then I would go for it. How much lower do you think it will go? Is the value of this potential decrease worth the potential of loosing this particualar hotel (if you like it/want it)? We have wrung our hands like this before. Now, if we get the hotel, and the price is good, we take it. Have lost one or two goods ones through procrastination. That's our experience for what it's worth.

Dec 9-10. Sheraton Ft. Lauderdale Airport. $71., after taxes/fees $86.03. Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Tennis nearby. Could not use Priceline as we did NOT want to get stuck in the Wyndam. Saturday checkin can also be a challenge. Booked via the HOTWIRE link on this site.

It is actually post cruise. Was planning to visit nearby BUT I will have a car so it really does not matter as long as the star rating and price is right. I recognize that I have lots of time. Will try again with P/L and H/W closer to the date. Thanks
