The Grand Hyatt Downtown is now a 4.5* hotel on Hotwire - upgraded from a 4* on the lists. From the amenities below, Tennis is the only one that stands out so we thought either this one or the Convention Center Hyatt had been upgraded. $445 direct with hotel so not saved much as our stay is $405 but better than saving nothing! Looks like a lovely hotel and deserving of the 4.5* status. Hotel list suggested the only possibility could really be the Cambria Suites - that's what it was! $111 by booking direct so almost $50 saved for our later stay downtown! A surprise hotel for us this time - we were convinced it'd be the Ramada Provincial Inn! First bid at $60 was accepted. We'll just have to camp out in the bar down the road!!

Tried "Name Your Own Price" from $65 to $90 with no success, so went for a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal at $107. Got the Residence Inn Kingston Waters Edge - direct with hotel was $199. Pretty pleased as it was the most expensive out of the 4 express options on the hotel list.

Looked promising as it was the only 4.5* Boutique hotel in the area - got the Place d'Armes hotel (a lot more expensive booking elsewhere). CAD$178 for those who are not using USD$(163). Looks good on Tripadvisor (the only criticisms are about the waterpark in the hotel, which is now closed for repurposing). Total was $197.03 - on the Hilton website the rates were over $400 total for the same room.

Was $82 when we checked yesterday but still happy with $84!

Hi, Trying to get a good deal in Old San Juan for 10/21-10/23. Hotwire only comes up with two results in the 5-3* selection - one (I think) is the Caribe Hilton (4*) but I can't figure out the 3.5* one as the amenities seem to be a mix of a few on the hotel list.
