  1. Thanks for the tip. I used the BiddingHelper.com tool and came up with: Free parking, Free Internet, Resort, Beachfront hotel, Free food and drinks, A la carte dining, Free water activities, Free entertainment, Free activities, Children's activities, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower Do you still think it's Paradisus? Are they have an 80% recommended? Thanks for your help!
  2. Can you please help identify this hotel? I know the board lists Paradisus but when I searched the board the Paradisus comes up as 4*. Has anyone won it since the hurricane renovation? Could that be the reason for 4.5* now? 4.5-star All-inclusive Hotel in The Corridor - North area 4/14-4/19 2 adults $262 n/t Free parking, Free Internet, Resort, Beachfront hotel, Free food and drinks, A la carte dining, Free water activities, Free entertainment, Free activities
  3. I went ahead and booked our hotel direct, just thought I would close the thread. Thanks.
  4. I decided not to bid on that hotel but I am curious about another with different dates. 3/30-4/6 2 adults, 1 child $413/nt 4.5* in the San Jose Del Cabo region My guess is the Hyatt Ziva? I used the bidding helper tool and got these amenities: Free parking, Free Internet, Resort, Suite, Near beach, Oceanfront hotel, Free food and drinks, Free premium drinks, A la carte dining, Free water activities, Smoke-free rooms, Free entertainment, Free activities, Children's activities, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa services
  5. Thanks. As of right now we aren't bidding on it. If that changes I'll update the post.
  6. FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free breakfast, Free Internet, Resort, Free food and drinks, Free water activities, Free entertainment, Free activities, Children's activities, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower
  7. I need help identifying a 4.5* hotel in The Corridor - South area of Cabo (95% recommended) April 1st-8th. It's $337 a night when you select 2 adults and one child. It's an inclusive and the amenities are as follows: Free parking, Free breakfast, Free Internet, Resort, Free food and drinks, Free water activities, Free entertainment, Free activities, Children's activities I would think this hotel is the Grand Fiesta Americana, which we would love, however, the listing says 1001-1500 4.5* reviews on trip advisor. The Grand Fiesta Americana has 4,010 reviews on TA. So any ideas what it could be? Thanks!!! I clicked through all the HOTWIRE links!
  8. Okay we booked and it was the Riu Palace. Price went up a dollar, so it was $162/nt. We changed the dates and booked from 6/12-6/20. 2 adults and 1 child. All amenities were the same as previously posted. Thanks for your help!
  9. Please help ID 4* Cabo San Lucas East area All-inclusive 6/12-6/16 for $161/nt. I am fairly certain this hotel is the Riu Palace, which we would be very happy with. My only concern is it is the Riu Santa Fe, which we don't necessarily want. Is it possible they have upgraded the Riu Santa Fe? One thing I have noticed is that you must book the Riu Palace must be booked for minimum 3 nights and the Riu Santa Fe is minimum 2 nights. When I search for this hotel on hotwire it doesn't show up if I put 1 or 2 nights. Amenities: Free parking Free breakfast Free Internet Resort Beachfront hotel Free food and drinks Free premium drinks A la carte dining Free water activities Free entertainment Free activities Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business centerI nternet access Tennis nearby Spa services As always, I've clicked through BB links.
  10. I went ahead and did Price.line name your own price. I saved $22 from what they're showing on Hot.wire, and $64 from list price. This hotel normally goes for much less, but with mardi gras that weekend the prices are astronomical. Thanks for all your help!
  11. It's on Priceline.Express deals, so I'm not sure if you guys really deal with many of those. It's for the night of 2/13 for 1 night. Rated 8.0 or higher. This is a cross post from my HOTWIRE post. Help ID 2.5* Hotel in Galveston West Beach - Holiday Beach Area for $120/night Guaranteed Amenities: Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center Free Parking Free Internet Free Breakfast Business Center
  12. Priceline says that I would be naming my own price and it's recommended by 8+ out of 10 or higher -- do they round up? I noticed a lot of hotels in the area I'm looking at that are rated 7.7, 7.8, or 7.9 for instance. So if it's rated 7.9, could it be the same as the recommended by 8+ (considering it's so close)? Also, I can't close my hotwire thread yet as I am debating between Price.line and Hot.wire as of right now. Thanks!
  13. Help ID 2.5* in Galveston East/Harbor Area for $139/nt It's for one night on 2/13. 90% recommended and 4* on TA. It also says "Book soon! The last person got the BEST WESTERN PLUS Seawall Inn & Suites by the Beach." I've booked when it has said that in the past and got the hotel it advertised. I'm guessing that's not always the case, however. Clicked through all the BB links. Amenities: Free breakfast Near beach Pool(s) Business center Self-service laundry
  14. Check in 2/13 for 1 night. 80% recommended on hotwire and 4* rating on TA. I made sure to click through all the BB HOTWIRE links. Amenities: Free parking Free breakfast Free Internet Near beach Indoor pool(s) Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Self-service laundry Internet access
  15. I went ahead and booked the 4.5* and it was the Royal Sonesta. Thanks for all your help!
  16. Thanks for the info. The one you think may be the La Quinta says that it's normal price is $239, but I noticed La Quinta is only $119 per night. Do they typically say the price is higher than it actually is?
  17. Last one I'm interested in: 2/19 for 1 night. 3* 100% recommended on hotwire for $83/nt . They don't list a TA rating. Amenities: Free breakfast Free Internet Pet friendly Fitness center Pool(s) Business center Self-service laundry Internet access Accessible for visually impaired Accessible for hearing impaired Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Accessible parking Roll-in shower
  18. Okay, just updated that post. We are looking to stay in Houston on 2/19 for 1 night. For the 2nd hotel that was posted, it's $91/nt, 85% recommended.
  19. We ended up booking directly through the Marriott in downtown LA for this stay.
  20. I clicked through all the links. It's rated a 4 on TripAdvisor. Normally $230/nt. I'm guessing this hotel is for the Hyatt House, which we would want. My only hesitation is that it could be the Homewood Suites (4.5* rating on TA, however) or the La Quinta Suites (4* rating on TA), which we do not want. Amenities: Free breakfast Free Internet Pet friendly Suite Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Pool(s) Business center Self-service laundry Internet access Kitchenette Accessible for visually impaired Accessible for hearing impaired Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Accessible parking Roll-in shower I'm posting a few different inquiries, in different threads before I decide which hotel to get, I hope that's okay!
