  1. Hi there - I'm having trouble identifying this hotel that appears to be new to Hotwire. Here are the amenities: It has 95% Hotwire user approval rating and 4 dots from (1001 - 1500 reviews) on TripAdvisor. Based on al that, I thought it might have been the Westin, but the reviews don't match up - unless TripAdvisor users are WAY more harsh than Hotwire, there's no way it could get 95%. I also don't think The Westin is new to Hotwire. If anyone has any other ideas, Id be most appreciative! Thanks, -dave
  2. I ended up playing it safe and went with the $94 sure thing (for pet-friendly) on Hotwire. 3* BEST WESTERN PLUS Boulder Inn $94 | $112 with taxes and fees Should I create a separate post to make this info available or is the above sufficient?
  3. so, i do have a contingency plan that would be worth risking having to go with if it saves me $30 or so.... With that said, a $70 max bid on Priceline puts me where I'd like to be. If you have some bidding wisdom to impart, I'd be most appreciative. Thanks!!
  4. Ya I understand that for sure. Unfortunately I don't have a ton of flexibility and thus not a ton of leverage in my favor bidding-wise. I need the Millennium or the Best Western Plus (but would reeeeeeally prefer the Millennium) as they allow pets and I will be traveling with my pup.
  5. Dates: 11/20 - 11/21 The Priceline hotel list shows 2 hotels at the 2.5 star level. One is the Millennium Harvest House and the is the Boulder Outlook, which has closed down. So is it pretty safe to say that if I limit my search to 2.5 stars, I'll get the Harvest House? Next, what to bid. Their retail rate is around $130 (plus taxes and fees and whatnot). Looks like it might be available on Hotwire for $95/nt (~$110 with fees). Would a bid as low as $70 (comes to $85 with fees) be advisable?
  6. It was actually not The Roosevelt but... 4* - Wyndham Midtown 45 (midtown east) 03/28/2014 - 03/29/2014 1 room. 2 adults. Subtotal: $123.00 Taxes: $13.53 Occupancy tax: $9.96 Fees: $12.60 Total price: $159.09 Booked using your HOTWIRE link. Many thanks!!
  7. Yes it does. Thanks for the tip. And that is a great tool you guys have built!! I'm impressed (and very grateful). I'll report back after I book.
  8. Hi there. I'm having trouble identifying this 4* New York City (midtown east) hotel for the night of 3/28/2014. Ammenities: Fitness CenterRestaurant(s)Business CenterInternet Access Accessible for the blindAccessible for the deafAccessible path of travelIn-room accessibilityAccessible bathroom There are no reviews on the Hotwire web site so I'm guessing it is newly added?? Any help identifying this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, -dave
