I'm sorry for updating things so late, but I opted not to book through Hotwire. I ended up booking directly with the Four Points by Sheraton for $125 per night plus taxes. I opted for the Four Points because I preferred its location over that of the Holiday Inn.

I need help trying to ID a particular hotel. I checked out the list, but wanted to see if I could get more direct feedback. I am only going to be in town for ONE night (Thursday, May 19). I found a 3* hotel in central Asheville for $105 plus taxes and fees. Below are the listed amenities. I returned from my trip and wanted to follow up. Hotel Metropolis did the job, although it's not spectacular. The location turned out to be great for my conference, but you are definitely on the edge of the Tenderloin. However, I had no issues with the local residents. You are likely to get only 1-bed Queen if you book via Hotwire, and if you call to request a 2-bed room (2 Queens) you will be charged $20 per night on top of what you booked already.

Any feedback on places to eat in the area, especially for breakfast?

Based on info from Hotwire and confirmed by a board member before booking, I did get the Hotel Metropolis. The reviews on TripAdvisor for this hotel are mixed, but seems like it's clean and the hotel is in a good spot for transportation connections. And on Hotwire it says the last person to book it got the Hotel Metropolis. I didn't want to disclose that in my original post for fear of tainting the feedback. I will post a follow up once a decision gets made about the booking. As always, thanks for the feedback.

I am looking for a hotel checking in 3/29/16 and checking out 04/02/16 in San Francisco. I will be attending for a conference hosted at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square. I have found a 3* hotel in Union Square West, but need help identifying it please. After staying at this property, it's definitely worthy of its 3.5* status. Much nicer than the Four Points - Memphis East that I stayed at in May.

I wanted to follow up and report that I am NOT going to be traveling to Dallas over Labor Day weekend after all. The whole trip is going to be too expensive, so I did not investigate my hotel choices besides what was expressed here earlier. However, thank you for the feedback. I'm looking at hotels over Labor Day weekend in Dallas area, and trying to find something that would be under $100 per night. I'll be traveling to attend the Advocare Cowboys Classic at AT&T Stadium, so I'll have a rental car and I do NOT have to be right by the stadium as I've seen anything close to the stadium exceeds $100 per night. As I posted to Hot.wire, the star rating is a tad high for this hotel. More like 2.5*, but overall a nice spot. Great location with tons of restaurants nearby.
