Got the Super 8 in State College for the weekend of 10/26. Price was $217 per night. Decent deal for the area and weekend.

Scored the Westin in downtown Columbus for $57 per night from 11/23 to 11/25. NIce hotel and a good deal for OSU/Michigan weekend.

Won the Doubletree guest suites on Front St for this upcoming weekend (11/26-11/28). I am really happy considering the game is this weekend! Started with a bid of $40 for Downtown without luck Bid $45 after including the OSU Area Bid $50 after adding Columbus South and wound up with this hotel.

Wasnt able to score a hotel in downtown Boston while bidding up to $100, so I added the Cambridge zone. Won the Hyatt for $60 bid. Not a bad hotel, however parking is expensive.

First bid of $35 was rejected...tried rebidding at $38 and $40 prior to winning this hotel for $41. Stayed here last week and used the PRICELINE link for both bids. Hotel is nice, however I hate paying $10 a day for internet. Ha - thanks for the great site.

Bid of $40 USD was unsuccessful, however bid of $45 scored me the Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center. I have won this property many times via priceline and have always been satisfied. They do charge the additional resort fee. Used the PRICELINE link, thanks for all the help.

I am surprised to hear about the additional charges at this place. Generally Resort fees cover internet, gym, parking, etc. Does this resort not charge the standard 'resort fees'? Almost all non-resort Hiltons charge for in room internet, most charge for the gym, parking, etc, however I dont recall ever hearing of a hotel charging for a king bed in lieu of two queens. Thanks

That is because Florida law mandates that a driver can return their rental car at any location within the state without a fee.

Got the Holiday Inn express on Washington st in downtown Detroit for $45 per night. Looks like its close to the MGM Grand. Not much else to do in Detroit.

Columbus Gatehouse Inn ... appears to be a newer hotwire hotel. Mixed tripadvisor reviews, however all the decent places downtown were sold out because of the game. Amenities include suites, laundry, kitchenette, pool, high speed internet, business center, and tennis.

Hey all sorry that I forgot to post previously, however I wanted to let you know I used the HOTWIRE link a week or so and got the nH Leonard Da Vinci in Vatican City. Marked as a 4* hotel. Property was very nice. Its about a twenty minute walk from the Vatican. Has a bar, restaurant, business center, and complimentary breakfast as the amenities. Scored the hotel for $99 USD. Noticed it was not on the list of hotels for Rome so it should be added. Thanks for all your help and GO BUCKS!

Was unsuccessful with $100 bid. Received The Benjamin with $105 rebid. I usually wind up with the Grand Hyatt when selecting MTE, so I am happy to check out The Benjamin. Zones used - Times Square, MTE, MTW, Central Park South. Used your PRICELINE link, thanks for the information.

Won the Hyatt Regency Boston with my first bid of $62. Good hotel in a nice area. I apologize, however I neglected to use the PRICELINE link prior to my purchase. GOT FOR ONLY $39 FOR TOMORROW EVENING. LISTED AS 3*. PURCHASED VIA HOTWIRE. STAYBRIDGE SUITES DEN. HOTWIRE LISTS.... SUITE, AIRPORT SHUTTLE, COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST, FITNESS, POOL, LAUNDRY, BUSINESS, AND HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS. HOTEL WAS NOT LISTED ON THE HOTWIRE LIST SO I FIGURED IT MAY BE A DECENT ADD IN CASE IT COMES UP AGAIN. THIS IS FINE FOR A 12 HOUR NAP AT AN AIRPORT HOTEL.

While I have never stayed at this hotel I have had nothing but great experiences at NH hotels and love the Barbazon Palace in AMS. I think that you will enjoy this hotel. Its in a great location.

Dont stay by the airport. London hotels can be found at reasonable prices. The tube also stops running rather early and you will have to pay for a cab, which are extremely expensive in London.

The Intercontinental is perfectly situated on Michigan Ave. Its a really nice hotel enjoy your stay.

I would be very cautious about attempting to check into a hotel when before you are 21. I had a similar situation years ago before I was 21. I was stranded in Las Vegas due to a flight cancellation and got the Harrahs hotel via priceline. The desk agent wouldnt let me check in and the situation turned into a physical confrontation. Its an absurd policy that many hotels have, however I would book a hotel that you will certainly be able to check into before your 21st birthday.

I was unable to get this rate for the night of 11/29. It appears that hotels are priced significantly higher that night. This is a pretty good deal for Thanksgiving weekend at the Palmer House. Thanks for the help and I used the PRICELINE link. I also wanted to make sure that everyone reading this will be rooting for the Buckeyes to defeat Piss U this weekend!!!

You should be able to park on the streets. The area east of Michigan Avenue generally isnt too bad. you may have to go north just a block or two closer to the Sheraton. Navy Pier wont have much traffic because of the weather and you should be able to find street parking. Best of luck!

Thanks for the link, obviously I missed that win. I will try a similar bidding strategy. Id like a 4 or 5* hotel for around $175 but willing to go up to $200 for a 5*. Ill let you know if I have success with that strategy. And to answer your question....I am watching the Buckeyes beat the hell out of USC during that time. If you happen to be in Phoenix you are welcome to join me!!!!! Bad luck to your team though this season. Lol just kidding.
