Selected South Beach Central and South Beach Collins Ave. Got it on the first try. In retrospect maybe should have started lower but it's not bad. Cheaper than what I was finding on Expedia, etc. and Hotwire didn't have much selection for these dates. Priceline fees & taxes add about another $30 per night.
Looking for a hotel near YYZ for Jan. 15-17, 2011 and it's showing a 3* with only one amenity (shuttle) for $62. Anyone hazard a guess as to what this is? It's not even close to anything on the list kindly provided by this board. Thanks.
We've booked the Sheraton Toronto through hotwire many, many times and it is an excellent hotel and a great deal... although the price has come up slightly over the past year or two it is still much cheaper than booking the hotel directly (it works out to about $100 CDN with tax as opposed to $150-$250 CDN plus tax if booked direct). The last time we visited, in Spring 2005, the hotel lobby was under renovation but this didn't inconvenience us at all and there was no added noise. It's a great place to stay - the rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable and it's right in the heart of downtown, near the shopping centres and not far from the theatre disctrict!

I'm trying to get 2 rooms near MCO for Feb. 8th (one night) and having the exact same problem with PL... I went up as high as $52 for a 2.5* and got nothing.... very frustrating! :)
