This is how I did the bidding while the problem is still on going. Bid as usual without sign-in, go to your mytrip page on separate tab/window and check if the bid was successful. If not , repeat as usual and recheck mytrip information. Make sure to refresh the page to make sure that all bids are noted. If the bid was accepted, it will show on the mytrip. Hope this helps

Didn't want to bid because of the other not so desirable property. Hope the area is decent, normally I stayed in LES, downtown or mid-town

Park Central and SMU areas were expensive for that stay.

My regular Houston Westchase is no longer a good deal because of $3/night attached to the bid if Hilton Galleria is the most likely bid taker. So I went with Brookhollow area. Hope this helps
