  3. Appreciate your prompt replies. I am likely going to pass on this property with the added costs and it not being ES. This post can be considered as closed.
  4. FYI, it will only appear if you select Free Breakfast amenity from the list on left.
  5. Extremely sorry, battling a cold and just took a nighttime cold med and clearly not comprehending... correct. Feb. 2-4, River North 4*, $72.00
  6. Sorry. Intended to place in subject line. It is a 4*.
  7. Trying to determine PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal in Chicago River North 2/2-2/4/18. Any help is much appreciated. Free Breakfast, Bed Choice, Business Center, Pets Allowed, Restaurant, Non-Smoking. I was thinking Embassy until checkout. At checkout there is an additional fee: 8+Guest Rating Mandatory Fee: $32.96
  8. Heading to Chicago for a night to catch two baseball games. Found the Hyatt Place for $95.00 in Theater District...before the extra $15.00 off thru the BB HOTWIRE link. It is 100% recommended. Amenities: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Business center, Internet access. Not bad for a night at a really nice place with a good breakfast (so I've been reading).
  9. The final night on our trip and wanted to stay in Manhattan, but Monday night was crazy in NY and forced to look outside Manhattan. Found The Parc Hotel in the Flushing Chinatown area. Got for $184.00/night on a guarantee King ($176.00 on hotel selects bed). However, upon check-in all they had available was a queen, as hotel stated that wasn't in my confirmation. Hotwire confirmed the upgrade, but I choose $20 in HOTWIRE funds for the mixup on the hotels part. Amenities: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Internet access. •
  10. Still traveling New York without a hotel and found The Wall Street Inn at $129.00/night for three nights. Not sure I've seen on site before? Impressed with the inn, 7 floors with 40+ rooms. However, the exterior had scaffolding around the building...maybe why they were listing on Hotwire and so low? Amenities: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Near beach, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Business center, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom. Still trying to figure out where the beach is ;)
  11. Flew to NY without a hotel, as prices were outrageous. Got the Warwick near Rockefeller Center or $230 before fees ($299 and change) on a busier Thursday night. Amenities: Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower.
  12. Traveled on a baseball trip last week and made a stop in Philly. Holiday Inn Express for $91.00: Free Breakfast, Free Internet, Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Business Center, Internet Access. They had a free shuttle that would take you within two miles, but did not allow luggage on shuttle. So much for the "airport shuttle" in the description.
  13. Going to be in Chicago for Restaurant Week (1/22-1/24). Got a great deal on the Sheraton Grand Chicago (Formerly Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers) on $63/night and just under $160 with fees/taxes. Hotel Amenities Pet friendly Indoor pool(s) Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Internet access Stayed here before and had previously paid $85-$256, depending on the weekend and high $$$ when huge conferences in town. Please note, was not able to put Sheraton Grand Chicago in as the hotel name for the win, as it recently changed. Used the Hotwire link in my purchase. Thank you!
  14. Thanks for your help. We ended up not deciding to go to Chicago this upcoming weekend. Appreciate the help!
  15. Thanks for your help. After tonight's Cubs game...I think I will wait. Prices likely to fall if you don't have added traffic of World Series in town on Halloween weekend.
  16. Having issues trying to identify this 3.5* Magnificent Mile Area - River North area Hotel Oct. 30-Nov. 1, $108/night ($200 reg price suggestion) 100% recommended. Free breakfast Free Internet Pet friendly Fitness center Business center Internet access Spa services Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Roll-in shower Seeing if anyone has thoughts? Hyatt and Embassy provide breakfast...neither share they have spa or are pet friendly.
  17. Heading to Cleveland 9/28-10/2, got The Westin at $108 x 4 nights with fees/taxes = $522.64. Really happy with this win! Especially with the cheapest Hot.wire 4* Hot Rate at $216. Regular Price.line booking would have been $1,189.88. The Express had been fluctuating between $122-132 for the last few weeks, after being well over $160 the previous weeks. I got a glimmer of hope two days ago when the Express teased me with a $92, but "was taken" before I could click.... That day I bid at $95 hoping to get the deal, but no go. Was offered a counter at $124 matching the range of Express. Choose to pass and bid today at $108 and got the deal! The PRICELINE EXPRESS deal if I only selected 9/28-9/30 was at $212. Used the PRICELINE link. Thanks for always saving us money!!
  18. Looking to stay in a 4* in PIT on a baseball trip June 19-22. Seeing lots of wins for $75-95 (and we really want the Omni). I also see that people are seeing the asking price on hotwire/priceline for $185. When I look at the new rates, they look like they range from $265-309. Should I be upping my price beyond the highest of $110 that I have seen win on this site, or should I just let-it-ride and wait until closer to the date? Anyone have any advise? First time posting to this site and I have seen great success. Will be using the links from now on!
