  4. Got this using a Hotwire Express Deal. Many failed Priceline bid attempts. (College Graduations)
  5. Got this using HOTWIRE bid. Hotel appears to be steps away from Old Montreal.
  6. Just stayed at the Crowne Plaza Ashville on 3/08 and it was a worthy 3 star hotel. Apparently, all the renovations are done and its quite the nice hotel. Lobby is beautiful and our check-in was easy. Heading up to the room, I was a wreck after reading all these reviews, but the room was fantastic. WI/FI, comfortable with nice amenities. I was totally thrilled by the stay and would stay here again in a second.
  7. Good location 3 blocks up from Broadway avenue and everthing Nashville has got to offer. 2.5 stars is pretty apporpriate. Not bad, not great. Comfortable rooms, but housecleaning is hit or miss. In a 3 night stay, they cleaned our room once. We did get fresh towels with a call. Small lobby with a public computer and all rooms have free wired access. Small continental breakfast in the morning. FREE Valet parking other than tips was really good. All in all, worth the $50 +/- Priceline bid for a downtown location in a large city. Just don't expect too much.
  8. Got this after several tries. Rejected was my $82 bid for a Downtown 4* and $62 for a 3* Downtown. Noticed that this is not on your Priceline Hashville Hotel list.
  9. Stayed here 9/9/07-9/12/07 and it was WONDERFUL. A full service Doubletree Hotel that was a steal for my Priceline $60 rate. Nice lobby, business area, pool indoor/out and workout room. Rooms were very comfortable with excellent beds. Very clean throughout. Attached restaurant and bar were fine. Right by the "L" and next to a mall so location was perfect. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
  10. This is a business class motel about 15 min. from CVG. A decent location that is well rated at 2 stars. There is no house cleaning here except for once per week OR pay for housecleaning $5 a day. Room is a studio with kitchen and work area. Decent size. There is a outdoor pool and weightroom at the location. This hotel is in the heart of the mall district with plenty of shopping and restaurants all around. A steal at $25 a night.
  11. This need to be added to CVG hotel list. Got on first try.
  12. Got this after several trys starting with a $60, 4* bid.
  13. Doubletree Lowell review We stayed here on a Saturday night in October. Very difficult to find in downtown Lowell. A myraid of one way streets. Once found, a typical, nice Doubletree hotel. Indoor pool, restaurant and bar. Free parking in the lot or the courthouse lot next door. One of the better Priceline bargains you'll ever find for $33.
  14. It listed for this property Pool Restaurant on site I didn't go around to check the pool and there is a Denny's attached to the same Parking lot.
  15. Everyone........HOLD YOUR HORSES!!! I just received a 100% from Hotwire. 9 night stay ($78 per night = $742.00) Checked in at a DUMP in Portland, Maine 1 Star property (Portland Travelodge) If this place wasn't a crack house, I haven't seen one! We refused to stay. It took 4 calls to Hotwire and they we saying we were stuck with it, but reasonable heads prevailed over there as we had 5 witnesses and a camera full of film to prove that it was inhabitable. The stench of urine masked by mothballs filled the air! I told Hotwire thats it most certainly didn't meet any 1 star rating in terms of at least being clean (if not anything else) Regardless of any terms and conditions or contracts stated, it must be at the very least a safe and clean place to stay even if it didn't have any amenities. I think they knew I was serious about contesting it with the credit card company at the very least and they must have realized that they had no case. So......let it be known that under some situations, they can and do refund purchases.
  16. dates 8/6 - 8/15 price $78 per night Amenities.....basic one star property (Super 8, Travelodge, Motel 6) No-Frills, just a place to hang the hat for the night. 100% REFUNDED BY HOTWIRE. ($742.00) When I say DUMP......I wasn't kidding! My family refused to stay and after 4 calls to Hotwire.....totally refunded!
  17. DO NOT and I repeat....... DO NOT purchase a 1* Portland Maine area hotel from Hotwire. Their only hotel is the Portland Travelodge at 1 star. If you can make it past the drug dealers and prostitutes you only find a dump of a motor lodge. TRUST ME on this one. :)
  18. Got this on the first try. Noticing that its not on the FLA priceline hotel list. I'll review it after staying.
