hm.. the reviews on tripadvisor is not positive... I hope the hotel will be okay. Was aiming for Galleria area but figured it's not within my budget and didn't see any star level for what I want when I checked the Express Deal tab... Saw on express deal there's a 3* for $48 so tried bidding for that starting at $37 (they gave a warning when I started at $34) and got this at $42 does anyone know if this area is safe?

I am checking out the Express Deal tab on priceline for the days I would like to stay in Austin. I would like a 4* in downtown, but none is shown in the express deal as available for this area (in any star level). Is it fruitless to do priceline bidding in this area then?

Has any member from your experience post on Hotwire they were able to stay at a place for more than 2 people? I have not used Hotwire before but it seems like my hotel selections changes as I changed the number people in a room. I do not mind paying a bit higher per a room if I can fit 4 people as oppose to getting 2 rooms for 2 people on Priceline. I am afraid of risking on Hotwire that will give only fit 2 people. (Sofabeds are do-able if that is the usual case)
