  1. Those are the links I have used every time but I clicked on them again.
  2. I have tried again without winning my bids. It doesn't look like I have many zones to ue for three stars or 2.5 stars. What do you think? Thank you.
  3. Thank you for your suggestions. My offers were too low. How long do you think I should wait before trying again? I have never used Hotwire...Do you think I should switch tactics an give Hotwire a try?
  4. The $70 was not good enough for Priceline. What would you suggest next? Thank you
  5. So, now I am looking for a hotel in Boston on Sunday July 7. Price is more important than stars but I think I should try for the best price and star level possible. I would like to be around 75 - 85 dollars and a 3 star is fine unless you think I have any type of a chance at 3.5. These are the areas that I would like to stay in: Back bay South Boston Seaport / Conference Center Quincy Market Boston Common Fenway Harbor front Cambridge East Cambridge West Thanks!
  6. After looking at the published prices, i am wondering if 80 dollars would be accepted
  7. Thank you!!!! I followed your directions and i didn't get my offers accepted. But, when i got to $100 I decided to increase the amount to $110. That was not accepted either, so i said what the hell and offered 120. I got a 4 star hotel in the perfect Boston Common location - Revere Hotel. My dad also got this same property for July 2. I am very grateful for your help and i hope my other dates and cities go this well. Priceline also offered me to add July 4 at the same price
  8. Thanks! I am having a hard time finding the five rebid zone. The list of areas on Priceline's normal page do not correspond with the zones on the Name Your Own Price site. I think that I found four zones without 3.5 stars: Fenway, South Boston, Brookline, and Medford. What would be my fifth rebid zone? Thank you again.
  9. I was looking at the PRICELINE site but I certainly could have made a mistake. I would like 3.5 plus but I would take 3 plus. The cost is more important at this point. If I could get 75 - 100 I owuld take 3 stars and up. I would like to try 3.5 first if possible. Thank you I used your PRICELINE link and checked Providence RI again and saw that it says zone 3 - downtown. Zone four is Coventry.
  10. I would prefer to start with 3.5 if that is possible. Then try for 3 stars. Thanks!
  11. Please help me find a 3 plus star in Boston on July 7 for one night. I would like to pay around $100. These are the areas I would like to stay in: Back bay South Boston Seaport / Conference Center Quincy Market Boston Common Fenway Harbor front Cambridge East Cambridge West Thanks! As far as the stars.. I would prefer 3.5 + but I will accept a 3+
  12. Hello! I am looking for a room in Providence for June 29 and 30. I would like to stay in zone 3 and pay less than 75 - 100 dollars. I see that there are only a few zones in this area. Any suggestions Thanks!
  13. Please give me some advice as to what zones I should bid. I am looking to spend around 100 dollars a night for a hotel in zones 14, 13, 11, 2. I would take a hotel in zones 4, 5, 6, 10,and 12 if needed. I am looking to stay July 2 for two nights and then July 7 for one night. Please help!
  14. Thank you!! I got a four star hotel - Le Meridien Cambridge for $130. Hotel looks great. Two mile walk to Fenway. I really appreciate your help.
  15. If the only hotel in Fenway is a one star then I would like to eliminate it. To clarify - The $130 price is what I would like to stay around. If you feel that I shoulr try a little higher for the 3.5 to 4 star properties then I will. I would accept anything above a 2.5 star at $130. Of course, I would prefer to try and get a 4 star but if that doesn't work then anything above 2.5 would be great at 130. The back bay and any of the other zones would also be great. Thank you for your help.
  16. Sorry about that. Fenway,Copley square - back bay, Cambridge east, Beacon Hill, Boston Common, Quincy Market, Cambridge west, Waterfront - Conference center. Thank you!
  17. Thank you for your reply and help. I would prefer the following zones listed in order of preference: 9,8,6,1,2,12,7,4. My goal would be the least expensive in any zone except zone 9. I would pay more for zone 9 - but only for a 3 star or above. The other hotels by Fenway are not so nice. I would pay more for a 3.5 or 4 star than a 2.5 or 3 star. Thanks!
  18. Hi, I am looking to stay in Boston on July 5 to July 8. I know this is a holiday week and I need help bidding the best price. I would prefer to stay by Fenway but I would stay anywhere downtown and Cambridge at 2.5 to 4 stars. I would stay at the airport at 3.5 - 4 stars. I am hoping to spend $130 or under a night. Thank you in advance for your help! Jason
