Yes, it was a 2*. Sorry for the mistake. I was moving too quickly. I will attempt to remember the features in the future. However, I usually identify Express hotels by average guest rating and retail price. Over the years, rating average almost always determines my comfort level.

This suits are needs very well and the price is great. Made the reservation a few months ago and catching up. Used the PRICELINE link to start bid.

For some reason the prices were/are high for the night of the 12th even though it is not a home football game. Just traveling through and made this reservation a few months ago, catching up. Always use the PRICELINE link on site.

Used PRICELINE link on this site. This zone has several more choices then the drop down indicates. I have reserved this hotel at least 20 times in the last 13 years on Priceline and it meets basic needs, (used to be the Cedar). Even though it is a budget property, it is always very clean.

A few years ago 2-1/2* hotels were not possible in the airport zone because the 3*s were only $40. This is great for an early morning flight. It includes a gym, breakfast, restaurant, business center, and free parking and pool. Price.line did not note an airport shuttle but I verified it was included with the Best Western website before booking.

They no longer have the fast start breakfast for $4.95 on weekdays. The beds are good but the AC is not extremely powerful and the doors do not automatically shut. Given the price, I'm willing to forgo a few niceties.

$80 a night. Very busy tourist season so this is the best deal possible today.

No category for Ellensburg. It is a city 40 miles from Yakima and 60 miles from Wenatchee. It is a separate zone. Used PRICELINE link to start bid. Also used 5% off coupon so actual rate was $41.80 excluding taxes and fees. This is not a bad hotel and works for a brief overnight stay. Amenities: Internet, Business Center, Pets Allowed, Parking, and Breakfast.

Used Priceline link for research. Actual price was $59 less 10% welcome back coupon for $53.10 per night. Retail price is $74 per night. I stayed at this hotel three years ago and it is not a 3* but I knew this going into the reservation. It is an old 1960s remodeled two story motel with exterior stairs and doors. I believe they now charge $5 for parking but it is free after 6 on the street. Amenities listed were breakfast and pets. Two years ago the breakfast was a packaged pastry and coffee.
