This was an exciting bid! I was bidding on a room for my family (husband, me, 2 young kids), and decided to throw caution to the wind. It's just for one night, and we'll be getting in after 10pm after seeing Cirque Jungle Dreams, so even if we're cramped, they could sleep in the bathroom or something. MTE 3* 110, rejected but offered hotel at 160 New session: TS 4* 125, rejected but offered hotel at 161 UWS (free rebid) $135 rejected New session: MTE 3* (using free rebid zone) 125, rejected, offered hotel at 160 New session--determined to get Times Square for the kiddos-- TS 4* with UES free rebid, $145, accepted. I'm excited to have Hilton Times Square, since the website says: The largest standard size rooms in midtown, (330 - 360 SQ FEET). Each room offers an incredible view of the city. I called the hotel and requested 2 doubles and they were very nice. I usually get the standard, "We can't guarantee it"--but they didn't even say that (and we have had excellent results getting a K as requested when we're traveling alone, and even got upgraded to a suite at the Westin Times Square one time on a Priceline win). Used BB PRICELINE link to start.
