Don't know where to put this...but while in Cranberry I did notice that the Fairfield Inn is now a Quality Inn. Just wanted to gives a heads up.

Just returned from a trip to the Pittsburgh Area. After trying to name my own price up to $68, I opted for the 3 star PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal of $75. Hotel is very nice and room is spacious. We had a King bed and a pull out sofa bed. Plenty of room for one adult and 3 kids. Free hot breakfast was great too. Restaurants within walking distance as well. Indoor Pool was nice too but inside the pool area felt like a sauna. Guaranteed Amenities: Pets Allowed Free Parking Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Free Breakfast Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities

Just booked the Crowne Plaza Greentree Pittsburgh for $68 a night Hot Rate Deal for March 5-7. Amenities include: Free parking Free Internet Fitness center Pool(s) Business center Internet access Tennis nearby

That ended up being the Red Roof inn.

Last minute reservation. I was already in town in a target parking lot. I started my bid at $50 for a 3.5 star. No takers. Then added 3 star and increased my bid to $55. Got accepted at Marriott Residence Inn. Very nice room. Wish I stayed longer.

I had started at $40 and increased by $5 until $65 was accepted. When we arrived at the Marriott, I was given a room on the 2nd floor with a king size bed and a pull out sofa. Very nice hotel. Indoor pool and gym. No hot tub. Coin operated laundry. Breakfast is not included. It was around $15 for the buffet. I did not try it or any meal at the restaurant. Starbucks coffee bar in lobby. Wifi was extra too. Although the public areas had free wifi. Since I was on the 2nd floor I was still able to connect to the free lobby wifi. :D

I put Mars, PA in the search. What comes up is Pittsburgh North- Cranberry area.

The dates are April 13-15. It's says 2 star Cranberry/Mars for $58. No amenities are listed.
