  1. While Pelican Hill looked good, I ended up going with a Hotwire 11/5-7 3.5 star John Wayne Airport for $78 won- Doubletree Hotel Orange County Airport (85% approval) Complimentary Free Internet Amenities Airport shuttle Business center Fitness center Pool(s )Restaurant(s)
  2. Yes, that's the amenity set I'm seeing thru BiddingHelper.com Free Internet, Resort, Fitness center, Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Wheelchair accessible, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking
  3. 2 people 2 nights 11/6-8 Newport Beach Fashion Island $195/nt Complimentary Free Internet Amenities Business cente rFitness center Golf nearby Resort Spa services Accessibility Accessible path of trave lIn-room accessibility $30 Resort fee 4.5 TA rating 1000-1500 reviews Is this Pelican Hill?
  4. PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals were 5 star strip South $86. 4 star South Strip $59, and near strip East for $41 I took a shot at 5 star strip South(Vdara) starting at $70 up to $76 by 1s using the numerous rebidding zones for a 5 star, all declined then 4 star North strip(Linq) starting at $40 up to $46, 2 rebids using South Strip and Lake both declined then 4 star East starting at $35 accepted at $38 using South strip North Strip and lake I used BB PRICELINE links for my searches and purchase. I am delighted with my purchase but was somewhat annoyed with some outrageous Priceline counteroffers. I was counteroffered with properties that weren't anywhere close to my bidding areas with higher than market prices, like $200-300?
  5. After my expired offers for a 3 star in multiple zones up to $49, I Started bidding @$56 downtown for a 3.5 star knowing I had 7 rebidding zones without a 3.5 star, at the 3rd rebid zone was accepted at $59. I would have been happy with the 3 star Crown Plaza at $49, but the Sheratons location is definitely worth an extra $10 Thank You Better Bidding, I use your PRICELINE links for my searches and purchases
  6. Took my first bid at $42, then I tried to add additional nights at $42 it was declined with a counteroffer at $69 Great property. I used Better Bidding PRICELINE links Thanks
  7. Amenities: Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access. I'm very happy with my Hotwire win. As usual, I use BB HOTWIRE links to search and buy. Using BB resources, I was able to determine this fine property before I bought. If it matters, had some other good choices in other districts for about the same price. The Westin and Madera if I was correct. I went with the Liaison for location
  8. PRICELINE EXPRESS offer with bed choice, the 1 Queen room was $171, but I took the Queen Suite for $194 (in NYC I thought only a $23 upcharge for a jr suite was a bargain). The full 1 Br Queen suite was $248, and I think that was the real deal but I wanted to stay within my budget Amenities were :Business Center, Fitness Center Room choice 1 Queen Bed 2 Double Beds 1 King Bed 1 Queen Bed - Superior Room 1 King Bed - Superior Room 1 King Bed + Sofabed - Suite 1 Queen Bed + Sofabed - Suite 2 Double Beds + Sofabed - Suite 1 Bedroom Suite - 1 Queen Bed + Sofabed 1 Bedroom Suite - 1 King Bed + Sofabed
  9. My other purchase is nonrefundable from another website, but its a fair price. I will continue using PRICELINE and HOTWIRE for sure
  10. Hi Aaron The Express Deal was 133 at the time(143 now), so with the now expired 'bigdeal' promo it would have been 119 for me, which would have been fine. But PRICELINE EXPRESS wouldn't allow multiple rooms at that price but would at 160. Then I tried to bid in other areas, but PL would reset without letting me bid or show that inventory changed. Maybe those areas had only one room available? For instance, go to PRICELINE EXPRESS and try to buy 3 rooms of the 3 star Times Sq hotel 8/11-13 now. It wont let you buy it at any price even after resetting inventory
  11. I tried bidding for multiple rooms in New York City for multiple dates, and most cases I couldn't even reach the bidding process or a declined bid. Priceline often would reset or say the inventory changed. I had one declined bid for 2 rooms @ $115 Times Square 4 Star for 8/11-8/13. It did appear that if I were to bid one room at a time, it would allow me but I didn't want to risk being in separate hotels. I finally gave up and purchased rooms on another website.
  12. I did try bidding this zone at $81, it was declined. PRICELINE EXPRESS deal was shown for $94, but using the Better Bidding Link and the promo code found here "bigdeal" my price was $85. Thank You Better Bidding, I am very happy with this win Free Breakfast Free Internet (in Room) Free Parking Indoor Pool Non-Smoking Gym Handicap Accessible Business Center
  13. It was shown for $48, but I used the link from Better Bidding and the 10% "Bigdeal" discount promo code I found here to get 44. I identified the hotel before purchasing because of the 'Free Parking' amenity. I didn't bid because other hotels either weren't as good or charged for parking. I am very happy with this purchase. Thank You Better Bidding Free Internet (in Room) Free Parking Non-Smoking Gym Restaurant Handicap Accessible Business Center
  14. Hi thereuare I want a Western Maui one night rental. Since I only want it for a few hours, I really don't want to spend a lot. Generally Maui properties are pretty good about disclosing them, but I would hate to bid on a 3 star and win for say $125, only to find out that property has a $90 mandatory cleaning fee too
  15. If I bid on a Priceline property, and I receive a condo with a mandatory cleaning fee on checkout, is it possible that fee will not be disclosed in the 'taxes and fees' section of my bid approval?
  16. Thanks for the information Hotwire Express was an awesome feature. I think too many people were identifying the property in code
  17. The PRICELINE EXPRESS 3* deal in Elmhurst was $45, an 'unlocked' deal for me with the hint Ive booked there before, so I felt confident that it was the Springhill Suites. At that number, I felt I could bid without missing out on this good property. Otherwise I take it off the PRICELINE EXPRESS screen. Started at 39, declined added Arlington Hts with $40 accepted Great Deal, Thank you Better Bidding. As usual, I start my searches and purchases with BB links
  18. I used Hotwire for two properties on a recent trip. The Westminster Bridge Park Plaza gave us a room looking straight at Westminster Abbey and the London Eye, and the Waldorf in Edinborough bumped us up to a suite.
  19. Hi Aaron, I booked a promotion with a hotel. Not as good of a deal as $182/nt, but its a beachfront location and that is what we wanted. Thank you for all your help and this fine website that is a valuable tool when using Hotwire and Priceline
  20. Thank You Thereuare, I see, yes they have restaurants in the overall property. I going to pass on this fine offer though, as I don't want a golf villa I always use your links for my purchases and searches
  21. $182 Free Parking Restaurant Free Internet 8+ Favorite $156 cleaning fee per stay $25 Resort Fee per night The only 4 star that I know that charges a cleaning fee & 25 resort fee is The Kapalua Villas, but they don't have a Restaurant Any ideas? Does the Westin or Westin villas have a cleaning fee?
  22. I recently booked the Hotel Menage with the same amenity set for Disney North, and its a 10-14 min walk to Disney. I'm told its an 'easy walk' But I just want to say double check before you book, because the 3.5 star changed after my search, was gone, then reappeared the next day
  23. Free Internet, Pet Friendly, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness, Pools, Restaurant, Business Center, Self Service Laundry, Internet Access, Accessible Path of Travel, In Room Accessibility They charge $12/day parking, but would have to spend about that at Disneyland too Im very happy with my win, and I look forward to staying at the Hotel Menage. And if you haven't parked at Disney, the outer lots will take you more time in the bus than walking from this hotel to the park so the extra $12 is a win/win if going to the theme park Thank You Better Bidding for providing all the resources I needed to anticipate this hotel win. I used the Better Bidding link and Bidder helper for this search and purchase
