This win showed up as 2.5 stars... It seems it was upgraded on Priceline's ranking system from a 2 to a 2.5. Honestly this isn't a huge win but considering it is county fair & a holiday weekend, I'm grateful for any discount.

There was a 4* listed in this zone on Hotwire for $93 which is likely the same location being that there are so few options around Burlington. The website for The Essex listed rates of $219 for this same night. Taxes and fees of $16.65 pushed my 1 night total to $97.65. It's 4 degrees out tonight and I'm so happy to be nestled on the sofa in the sitting room of my junior suite. The facility is much better than I expected. I was given the option of upgrading at check-in to a king suite (with kitchenette and gas fireplace) but I'm perfectly happy with my queen room. I have been lurking on this site for a couple of years and finally got around to sharing. I also used the BetterBidding PRICELINE link to place my bids.
