  1. Was hoping for Marriot New Orelans (going to be there for a convention), but am okay with this one too. Booked through BB discount PRICELINE EXPRESS link and used got the 5% discount. 8/10 Guest rating. These are the Amenities that showed up: Amenities: Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities
  2. Thank you. I'm sorry, I did not make note of it prior to the buy. Is there a way to do this after the fact? Sorry again :/
  3. I used the Priceline link through BB to get to Priceline. This was a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal from Priceline. I thought it was mediocre, but I wasn't bidding, so... About $10 off the listed price on other deal websites. I was hoping to get the Aloft-Frisco, nearby, which was on the hotel list here. But This one has higher reviews, so that's a plus. I'll post another deal to the Dallas area soon.
  4. Used the PRICELINE link from this site. Did some research here and found this hotel going for $85/ night back in June. Selected Santa Maria Zone and 3*, at $52. Rejected. Then bid Lompoc @ $57 and Goleta @$65- without changing star rating because both had no 3* hotels- both rejeted. Added Solvang- though it DID have 3*- and bid $70 which was accepted at my original preferred zone. I'm very happy with the over all result! Thanks!
  5. Used the BiddingHelper.com to research both HOTWIRE and Hotels 'going rates.' Placed my 1st bid at $67 and got it. I was in a rush and should have come here to seethe same hotel exactly 1 month earlier for $61. Hey- I'm still really happy for what I think's a great deal! :D Room Subtotal: $65.00 Taxes & Fees: $16.11 Total Charged to Card: $81.11
  6. Started with the PRICELINE link. Bid 54.00; Increased to 67. I think I rushed this time, because I saw the other bids for the same hotel $7 cheaper. Meh- what you going to do? Learn to be patient, that's what. LOL. Still a decent deal. Thanks for the website :)
  7. Bid 1st time @$45. 2nd bid at $52, accepted. I'm happy :) And of course I used the link from here to get to the PRICELINE website.
  8. I popped my betterbidding.com cherry recently with one nite priceline win at a local resort and was going to just add another night via priceline, but after figuring resort fees and parking fees (ya, do you believe it? $10 bucks to self park in the desert? lol), figured I'd try a less expensive option to arrive to town with. Did some research here, and ended up at the Hotwire forums, and saw this hotwire purchase at the Hyatt Regency for 71 bucks back in September last year. Went to HOTWIRE, saw that the same amenities and star rating was going for $76 bucks and same area. I used the PRICELINE links here to get a quote from priceline on a 3.5 Star hotel in the Rancho Mirage area and bid $60 (saw someone, somewhere mention they tried for 20% less than hotwire as a goal); wasn't accepted. Bid again at $66 and got it! Very happy with the hotel and price! Thanks for the great site!
  9. Hi all, first post here, and first time using this website! I used the information based on Luckyinla's Priceline Palm Springs post a few days ago. Did a 4 star search for the Palm Springs area, and bid $80. It was accepted. Staying at the four-star Hyatt Grand Champions Resort. Summary of Charges Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $80.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Guests Per Room: 2 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $80.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $19.09 (USD) Total Room Cost: $99.09 (USD)
