  1. I just enjoyed two nights last week after winning on Pline for $105 amount. Two wings of this hotel, keep your fingers crossed for the new Kamehameha wing. Just opened this month - They were going to close the other wing shortly. VERY NICE! Across the street from the King's Shops, make a reservation for Roy's - don't bother with the Big Island Steak House. Gas up at the station at the King's shop so you don't have to pay for a full tank when you return your rental. Gas is $3.09 on Big Island. Have a great time
  2. The only 3.5 star Waikiki Central that I have seen is the Radisson Prince Kuhio. I won this hotel on Priceline for mid-April for $80. The price you indicate it about 50% off what their website showed for my dates.
  3. Saw that the Radisson was going for $80 around Easter - Winner winner chicken dinner. The 3*'s have not been coming up lately. I have stayed at the Prince Kuhio before and am looking forward to my stay.
  4. It has been my experience that the 3* Sheraton referred to here is not the Sheraton (which is a resort), but the weak Princess Kualilani (or something like that). The reviews I have read for the Princess have been less than stellar. DC is correct in his observations about the 'manor' at the resort Sheraton....small junk rooms. I have not seen it come up on Priceline. Happy travels. The Prince Kuhio is great! I have been looking at Hotwire for a stay in January and the 3.5* Waikiki Central (which I think is the Prince Kuhio) is going for more than double the price in this discussion. Hopefully it'll go down. The $75-$90 range for this property is IMHO one of the best values in Waikiki. Travel safe
  5. This property is on Kalakaua Avenue right across from Waikiki Beach. There is about a 50 yard walk to the beach, it is right in the middle of Waikiki. I would guess that any Hotwire or Priceline winner would be assigned a lower floor without much of a view. IMHO, try to ask nicely for a Mauka (mountain) view. Your room will be much quieter! Kalakaua is 4 lanes of one-way, 24 hour traffic. Enjoy your stay!
  6. Oops, sorry. Believe it or not, this is a 13-night win. From 8/29-9/11. My old record was 11 nights. Thanks to all
  7. Started off at $70 and was unsuccesful. Added Cath. Hill at $75 and won the Omni. Their website shows $199 per night. A little off the Union Square, but a few blocks and saving a ton of money never hurts. Thanks to the site
  8. I won the Hawaii Prince Hotel (Waikiki North) from 10/3-10/11 a few weeks back. Had tried starting off at $100, then added Exec Center @ $105, then won adding Ihilani area @110.00. The Hawaii Prince site showed $209 per night at the time. I remember a few years back the Prince winning at $85. I have stayed at a few of the 'Resorts' and I don't recall additional 'fees'. Hope this is helpful to all and thank you for your site.
  9. Started off at $45, then to $50, $55, then $60 and won the Royal Garden. Mixed reviews on the web, hope it is not too bad.
