  1. Hi...

it's been quite a while since I was here. Now as the little one is getting older, we're back to travelling as a couple. For this, I would really appreciate help with identifying some Hotels in London, though it's not just one or two. Used biddinghelper.com for checking the amenities and will use the provided hotwire-link by betterbidding for booking.

    Thanks a million

  2. I have the same problem with hotels in Florida and Atlanta, where I was supposed to check-in on friday. But my flight from Germany to the US was cancelled. We are now booked on a flight tomorrow, but I doubt that there will be any chance that this is going to happen.

So I just wrote an email to priceline and now I'm pretty curious about what's going to happen. I think there will be hundreds if not thousands of bookings through priceline which will be affected by the problem with the volcanic ashes.

  3. Started bidding with the PRICELINE link at 50 $, got counteroffer for 72, declined and raised the bids by 5 $. Got accepted at 65$ for The Shores Resort And Spa .

Hotwire was 89 and website stated 120$ for the room.

    04/21-22

Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $65.00 (USD)

    Number of Rooms: 1

    Number of Nights: 1

    Room Subtotal: $65.00 (USD)

    Taxes and Fees: $16.05 (USD)

    Total Room Cost: $81.05 (USD)

  4. Started bidding with the PRICELINE link at 75$. Added 5 $ with every bid using the free rebid-zones. Got accepted at 90 $ for the W Hotel Fort Lauderdal. We'll stay there for one night after a cruise before flying home.

Saw it on Hotwire for 114 $, rate on their website is 309$, so this seems to be a pretty good deal. :)

Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $90.00

    Subtotal: $90.00

    Taxes & Fees: $18.56

    Total Charges*: $108.56

  5. Started at 60$, with Buckhead Area, than added Downtown as I would've stayed in both areas. Raisedy by 5 $ at every bid.

Finally got accepted at 80$ for the J.W. Marriot Buckhead

Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $80.00 (USD)

    Number of Rooms: 1

    Number of Nights: 2

    Room Subtotal: $160.00 (USD)

    Taxes and Fees: $31.78 (USD)

    Total Room Cost: $191.78 (USD)

Best rate on their website would've been 159$.

Started bidding withe the PRICELINE link

  6. Haven't been here for a while

Started with 45 $ at I-Drive North, got counter offer for 13 $, declined. Added 5 $ rejected, added another 5 to 55 --> accepted for the Crowne Plaza Universal Orlando. I'm pretty happy with the result. :)

Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $55.00 (USD)

    Number of Rooms: 1

    Number of Nights: 2

    Room Subtotal: $110.00 (USD)

    Taxes and Fees: $22.66 (USD)

    Total Room Cost: $132.66 (USD)

Started bidding withe the PRICELINE link

  7. I'm actually bidding on a 4* at Coral Gables/Coconut Grove (went up to 90$) for the same dates, but haven't been successful yet. I don't really care about a condo. I was just checking rates at Hotwire again and found that to be a great bargain.

I did some research and found the Crescent Resort on the Sepcialty Lodiging @ Tripadvisor. That would totally fit the amenities and the Tripadvisorr description from Hotwire.

I'm just not really sure if I like the rooms. I think my girlfriend has to decide. And then we still don't know if it really turns out to be the Crescent.

  8. Hi,

I hope anybody can help with identifying this Hotel. I didn't find it on the Hotwire List here. And given on the 100+ reviews and 4/5 points at Tripadvisor, I still don't have a clue. Was thinking about the Nassau Suites, but they don't have enough reviews.

3 * South Beach for 74 $ with the following amenities:

    Condo

    Suite

    Near Beach

    One Bedroom

    Kitchen

    Fitness

    24 h Front Desk

    Boutique

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Michael
