I am seeing a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal on priceline. NYC July 11-18 Empire state building area 3 star 9+ rating, free breakfast and free internet are listed amenities. Any ideas on what hotel that might be?

I have found that sometimes searching for flight + hotel and by star rating for the same dates gives me a better idea of what hotel it might be. I searched same dates, 3 stars, 9+ rating with flight from milwaukee and the hampton inn on 35th came up at 1804 (which seems to be in line with the rate) The fairfield inn times square came up at $2522 which makes me think that its more likely to be the hampton inn. I'd be delighted if it was the fairfield but both seem to be good choices and I'd be happy with either. The only other hotel that came up was the residence inn times square which came up at a price of $2469. I'll let you know when and if I bid. I already have a free flight so I won't be booking both together. Any other suggustions on areas where I could find a bargin and still be close to the convention center and have access to citifield for the hr/ all star game would be appreicated. Thanks

I'm looking for a hotel in nyc july 11 -17th....for the all star game. I'm seeing a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for $177/night 3 stars...rated 9.0 it is listed as being in the Madison square garden/ convention area which is great if its near fanfest..... offering free internet, restaurant, business center and fitness center...seems like a good deal and I have a 10 percent off book a PRICELINE EXPRESS deals coupon. I'm thinking its either the hampton inn or the element...any other ideas on what hotel this might be...if anyone has any ideal let me know what your thoughts are.

This inculded access to the water park attached to the hotel called barefoot bay.

3 nights 4 star downtown, Started low and worked my way up and was countered offered $74 when i bid 55...worked my way up to 67/night. $67/night + fees and taxes of $42.57 = $243.57 Was suprised to not see the hyatt downtown come up. So used to staying there. Hope the Renaissance will measure up!

$54/night + $14.17 taxes and fees = 68.17 night Started in this zone and 45/ night and rebid several times, recieved a $63 counter offer at $51/night but rebid at $1 increased increments till they accepted at $54. Was available in express deals at $73/night. Not as pleased here as I would be at the hyatt schumburg but still a nice hotel for the price.

50.00/night + taxes and fees of $13w62 = 63.62 Great hotel for the price, my 2nd time staying here for this price. Saw them listed in the express deals at $61 offered $50 and was accepted on my first try. Free parking at this hotel as well.

Seems as if this is now listed as a 2.5 star hotel, was pleased to see it come up at such an inexpensive price on my first bid, makes me wish I had started lower! $42/night + taxes and fees $12.58= 54.58

$53/night ...pretty standard holiday inn ...nothing exciting... good rate for the area...

Nice rooms, was in town for a baseball game so all the extra's like the nice pool ect were not used. I wasn't really happy they didn't have a business center and had to use the "ups" store in the hotel lobby to print my baseball tickets ...cost me $6 to print them. other than that everything was fine. Parking charge was reasonable $15 combared to i think 30 at the marriot down the street. $61/night + taxes/fees $15.93= 76.93

Must have done some remodeling since i've been here...much better than the last stay i had here...love that it is right accross the street from the train downtown...parking is $5/night which is reasonable. $41/night + taxes/fees $13.22 = $54.22

Decent 3 star in a nice area/ was moved to a nicer room when the room above me started leaking water into my bathroom. Was the holiday weekend and they seemed to be giving rooms away ...was very pleased with my deal Was so happy with the rate i rebooked at the same rate for a 2nd night... $35.night + taxes/fees of $12.26 = $47.26/night

This was a pretty nice for a one star hotel in estes park colorado, was a quaint place, small rooms, family kinda place, No air in rooms but didn't need it, screen doors that lock so you can leave them open at night. If your not a camper and want to stay near rocky mountian national park this is a great option. I know i'll be back, the room i was in had a newely remodeled bathroom. And one of the locals that i talked with said that the hotel was slowly being fixed up. I would stay again. $89/night + taxes and fees $9.45 = 98.45

Very nice hyatt place, the normal giant room, quiet, great free breakfest in the morning. One of my favorite chains to win on priceline!! Free parking ...this was a winner and the hotel was Sold out for the night, I have no idea how i got the room for $44/night! On a holiday weekend too! $44/night + taxes and fees $13.03= $57.03

On the road half way between denver and Madison, needed a good nights sleep...this hotel was beautiful...and better than the lower ratings on priceline. Free parking...kinda out of the way but all i needed was a good nights sleep $61 + taxes/fees $18.31 =$79.31

Very nice hyatt property...close to everything...free parking as well...was extremely pleased...can't even stay in a motel six for this price! $52/night + taxes/fees $13.80 = $65.80

Pretty standard 3 star hotel, little on the worn side...can't believe this is where the visiting teams stay when they play the packers at green bay. (just a tidbit of info for you football fans) Parking at the city garage right accross the street and a skybridge connecting the two. Parking is $2.00 every time you enter the garage. Great dining options at the hotel. Vince Lambardi steakhouse is fantastic but more casual sports bar option as well. $55/night + taxes and fees of $14.97 =69.97

$47 for a nice hotel much nicer than the lower rating it gets on priceline! free parking...close to miller park...and shopping(mall right next door) and dining. Great deal, i'd stay again! $47/night + taxes/fees of $14.36 x2 = $122.72

$44/night for this holiday inn saw express deal for $59/night so figured i'd low ball it and they took it. Free parking and not far from downtown. Hoping i'm not disappointed. $44/night x2 + $22.48 tax/fee = $110.48

Started at 60 and rebid zones at 63, 66, and 70 till accepted at $70 $70/night + taxes and fees of $18.15/night = $88.15/night Free parking ok hotel...not wow impressive but acceptable

Started at 60/night and was offered a rebid at $74, just added zones that didn't have 4 stars till they accepted at $66/night $66/night + taxes and fees of $16.32/night = $82.32/night

Started at $50 and was counter offered 2x before being accepted at $56/night....not far from target field which was what I was looking for. $56/night + $15.89 taxes and fees = $71.89 I always use better bidding.

This was the hotel i thought i'd win, i started at $65 and worked up by $1 increments....pretty pleased to be booked in this area at $68/night 3 nights... $68/night + $39.30 taxes and fees = $243.30 for a 3 night stay.. I aways use better bidding.
