1. Tried to go 4 star downtown for the PACKERS GAME....but bid up to 90 and nothing was even counter offered ....so bid out at airport 3 stars or higher at 50 and ended up at this very nicely just remodeled hotel and its 3.5 stars......stayed here before...great beds...beautiful hotel...have asked for guest pass for parking and haven't had to pay for it before...think its 10/night...but pretty happy getting a hotel for the Packers game at 50...was trying to avoid the hilton at the airport which is ok..but nothing exciting. $50/night + $24.58 taxes and fee's = $124.58 Always use the better bidding !!
2. Thanks for the info, using your info I was able to duplicate your win for one night Monday 7-16
3. Bid $45 and was accepted on first bid, was feeling kinda lazy probably should have started lower, on our way back from the all star game and want to see some of the sights with a friend. I stay here often. Great place to stay if your looking to sighsee, parking is much cheeper down the road at the parking garage on Chestnut and 7th/pine area. $45 + $14.71 taxes and fee's = $59.71 Great deal for downtown st louis!
4. rate was $72/night +$14.72 taxes and fees = $87.72. I used a mail in rebate from the Entertainment Book for $15 on this purchase bringing it down to $72.72 The ammenities were listed as : 3-star Hotel in Cincinnati Intl Airport CVG - Florence This Hotel features the following amenities: Indoor pool(s) <amenity names only please... not descriptions> Fitness Center Guests have access to exercise equipment; an additional charge may apply. Pool(s) Property offers at least one pool area; hours and dates of operation may be seasonal. Business Center Guests have access to business equipment and services; an additional charge may apply. High-Speed Internet Access Guestrooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access; an extra charge may apply. Golf Nearby Property is located within walking distance or a short drive of at least one golf course; an extra charge typically applies. Free Breakfast <amenity names only please... not descriptions> Free Internet <amenity names only please... not descriptions> Rooms were pricy in Cincy area for this weekend I couldn't find anything in that range by naming my own price on priceline.
5. Evidently this is considered 3 star not, was listed as 2.5 stars on your list...just so you can update $50/night + $15.20 taxes and fees = 65.20/night. Not bad considering parking is free
6. If your looking to get rooms to go to a cardinals game it does get high during the summer, What i have found it that I can get a really reasonable rate at the hilton airport (bid 3.5 stars) they have a shuttle that will take you to the metrolink train station and it stops right accross the street from the stadium. SO you don't have to worry about drinking and driving...only draw back is they do charge 10/night to park. I've parked 2 cars with room keys only paying for one many times....good luck ...hope that helps...I usually end up paying under 50 even when the Cardinals are in town.
7. Needed a room and this came up under Wanyesville Mo on hotwrie. Came up listed as "Saint Robert West area hotel" Still gathering information on hotel so no reviews. Amenities listed were: 2.5-star Hotel in Saint Robert West This Hotel features the following amenities: Business Center Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Free Breakfast Wasn't so pretty from the outside but the rooms actually were very large and nicely redone. I was very pleased for the rate and I used a $20 rebate coupon from my Entertainment Book.
8. Bid 50 in this one zone, and was accepted at $50/night. Hyatt place is a nice property in this area so I was pleasantly suprised. Probably could have bid lower as I am not used to having my bid accepted on the first try. $150 + 33.81 taxes and fee's = 183.81 for 3 nights
9. I saw that the room was $50 on hotwire so I figured I'd try a little lower and ended up at $44/night with priceline. Its a nice place have stayed before. Nice pool and workout rooms. $44/night + 14.46 taxes and fees = 58.46
10. Was good to run into you in the bar there...didn't know if you noticed but priceline has a $7/night coupon available on facebook. Have to grab it today...
11. Bid 3 stars in the STL airport area and got in at the hilton at the airport. I've always had nice rooms here, but always hope that i will end up apart the embassy suites which I have a few times. I don't like the $10/day parking charge but its still not a bad deal for over the holiday weekend. I bid 42 and first and they countered at $59/night. I declined and rebid with the airport west area added. $46/ night + taxes and fees of $53.60 = $283.60 for 5 nights.
12. I was able to claim a $7/night coupon off the priceline facebook page today. Good for up to 10 nights on one purchase, only drawback is the coupon expires at midnight tomorrow!!! But thought I would send a heads up for others.
13. $45/night +$22.74 fees and taxes = $112.74 Great deal for Baseball game nights...
14. $53 +$16.30 taxes and fees = $69.30 tried to add additional night at $44 at the Hyatt north houston but was rejected and counteroffered at $66/night + taxes and fees. Tried 3.5 stars same area at 50/night was not accepted. Tried 3.5 Stars same area and added Katy area at $53/night and ended up here.
15. I've found that If i bid 4 star downtown on priceline i typically get this property for about 42-45/night....
16. Sorry I didn't respond earlier...here is what it said with my hotwire account as far as amenities: 3-star Hotel in Overland Park This Hotel features the following amenities: Complimentary Breakfast <amenity names only please... not descriptions> Smoke Free Rooms Guest rooms at this hotel are always smoke-free. Fitness Center Guests have access to exercise equipment; an additional charge may apply. Pool(s) Property offers at least one pool area; hours and dates of operation may be seasonal. Business Center Guests have access to business equipment and services; an additional charge may apply. High-Speed Internet Access Guestrooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access; an extra charge may apply.
17. Had never used hotwire, as I am a total PRICELINE junkie, but wasn't getting any luck with pricline, bid 3 stars all zones on priceline and didn't get any hotels or counter offers. I saw this on hotwire and I have to say for ALL STAR GAME week in KC this is an awesome deal at an awesome hotel. I've stayed at a few hyatt places in texas and have been very pleased. It was listed as a 3 star with 95 percent reccomneded on trip advisor. The ammenites listed were "Complimentary Breakfast, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center" Total with taxes, fees and room rate was $468. Was listed at 56/night today, was listed yesterday at $53/night. Hope this helps with people looking to book for the all star game.
18. Bid all zones 3.5 stars up to $57/night...was turned down with no counter offers then bid 3 star airport at 50/night and ended up at the crowne plazza. Will be filling up hotels with Kansas playing in town...
19. Bid 45/night but was rejected and offered at 55/night on 3.5 star airport and westport zones added fenton area and rebid 3.5 stars (fenton doesn't have 3.5 stars) with 49/night and was accepted. Not bad with the Ncaa tourny in town. $49/night for 3 nights....taxes and fees $32.73 total for 3 nights = $179.73
20. $46/ night + $13.34 taxes and fees .....$59.34/night was a nice room for the price, better than a typical 2.5 star room
