NoVA around Dulles airport has some great deals if you stay Thursday -Sunday nights. Guess all the contractors go home and prices drop a lot. Always bid on 4* properties, they are the best deals. But be careful on the Leesburg 4* as this is a resort with a resort fee. This Property is always nice. I would suggest asking for an upper floor room facing the Dulles Airport..It's fun to watch the planes land, day and night.

Summer is tough to get a good price near the beach so happy to head to Chesapeake. Got the Aloft for $55. Kinda funky but nice for the money. Hint...if you like fried seafood or crab cakes...I think that "Surf Rider", close by, is the best anywhere. There are 3 in the Tidewater area...look for them...the Friday flounder specials and crab cakes are great!

Starting bidding at 47... got at $54.

Bid 3* at $40 no... again $41 no...then $42 yes.

Have gotten this on the weekends for $45 a few times so tried again and got it on the first bid. Nice property with free underground parking (great when it is raining) and free internet. Best buy in VA on the weekends.

Go IAD 4 star PRICELINE EXPRESS deal $53 Herndon or PRICELINE Name your own price at $47-50. There are only 4 hotels in the area at 4* and I can almost bet it is the Westin in Reston. The other ones are Hyatt in Reston, and Westin & Hyatt in Dulles...all are very close to Reston adn you would be happy with any of them. Hotels over holidays and weekends are very low prices as most of these hotels fill up druing the week for businessmen and have no business on the weekends (Thursday - Sunday nights)

Had gotten this for $45 before on a weekend...so tried again. Have stayed there many times always a very nice place. And a great bargin on the weekends

Starting bidding at $60...got to $77 ...not accepted till $79

Tried 62, 65, 67,68,69 and got it for $69. SINCE i AM FLYING OUT OF REGAN THE NEXT MORNING THIS WAS THE PERFECT PLACE TO BE. A GREAT PROPERTY AT A GREAT PRICE.

Tried for this property for a couple of days... went from 57 to 64 at $1 increments... this seems to be where this falls most of the time. Have bought it in the last couple of weeks for $57

Tried $35 and Priceline came back and asked for $48 to rebid...picked another area and bid $42 and got it. Good deal this time of year for a place I have stayed before and enjoyed.

What I have found is if you wait till the week that you are going the price drops on this property

Was bidding thinking I would get Tangelwood Holiday Inn... but got Cambria Swutes...I'm a happy camper... wanted ot try this hotel...we'll see. Tried $52 no go...$53 got it

I tried for this deal.. but got another priceline win at the Tangelwood Holiday Inn.

Bid 4 star starting at $52 and not bidding downtown where i did not want to stay. Got the room for $64 after not getting it for $62. Great property... a little out of the way...but for a businessman who needs to be near the highway it is a great place for me to base out of for Richmond, NoVa, or the near Tidewater area.

Tried bidding on Price.line for a 4 star hotel in all areas with Reston first. Got to $58 and still no go... since there are only a few 4 star hotels in that area I noticed with fees the 4 star Hotwire hotels at $60 were the same as the $58 Price.line hotels...so I went with Hot.wire... and got The Westin at Reston Heights...Reston VA. Very nice hotel...have stayed there before and near Reston Town Center so that is a plus!

Tried a couple of lower prices but looks like $49 is the lowest...

Went dollar by dollar...knowing the weekends are much cheaper... $49 Great place to stay

Tried 47...was made a counter offer of 62...bid every single dollar till it hit $54 and it took it.. nice place...

Got this room in Oct for $60, but this time got it for $45 on the first try. Nice buy and nice hotel for the money.

Started out at 45 then 47 then 49 then 52, 53,54,55 and got it. Been there before ...tucked away behind condos and very nice property!

Did not think I had a chance at this price... Nice find.
