  1. Got it on the 1st bid YAY ME!!!! 2 rooms. Looks great although I was hoping for the Grand Hyatt. Lowest website price 219.00 not too shabby. Hi theruare how are you? :)
  2. The amenities are Suite, Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Laundry BTW- They already gave me back the $602.00 only took 4 hours, gotta love that :) And now I am offically out of double the difference money for the year. And we are outa here, headed to newark and on to trick or treat with the mouse... Happy Halloween :)
  3. LglBlonde, check this HOTWIRE FLORIDA post :) thereuare, thanks AGAIN!
  4. Have been trying unsuccessfully to get the HYATT MCO and kept waiting. Today on Hotwire I saw a 3.5* that I was relativlely sure was Sheraton Suites for $400.00 so I checked the hotel website and they have availability for $99.00. Took the plunge and thank goodness I was right. 1 Room @ 400.00 Tax & Fee 59.95 With the DD refund I come out ahead $143.00. If anyone books this deal which I see is still available. Good Luck. Looks like an easy way to make $143.00 Glad I waited.
  5. I think I am having a senior moment here. I have used the claim before, but now it is not making sense. I see a hotel that is $400.00 + tax=459.00 on hotwire. Now I found on the hotel website a room for $99.00. SO does it go like this 400 - 99 = 301 x2=602 refund + 459.00 = a net refund of $143.00? Doesn't seem like much with such a price discrepancy. Any thoughts?
  6. We requested 2 doubles and a crib and it was granted no problem. We were given a corner room and it seemed pretty big. This was a very posh place. We had our three little ones with us but it would be a terriffic place for a couples only getaway. Absoultely the nicest hotel bathroom ever :) Also they were very accomodating to the kids and they provided them with mini bathrobes. My only regret is not having stayed longer.
  7. No amenities are listed. But I was certain that it was from checking the vacation pkg. Of course I could have been wrong and it may have been the Westin Diplomat, but I think that it s 4* and availabilty was limited.
  8. Hey Kewl-1 I did beat it!!!!!!!! Was watching Hotwire all week for what I was sure was the Diplomat Country CLub and it was fluctuating from $280.00 to 349.00 Their own website had a best available rate of $175.00 So monday Hotwires price is once again $349.00 and I pounced on it. Submitted the double the difference form and just got confirmation of $696.00 refund woo hoo total for 2 nights $2.00 + tax = 72.00 And the resort looks incredible. Hope this helps someone.
  9. This is a truly the best deal so far on Priceline. NYE in Times square. According to the Marriott website, NYE alone is $459.00 so I essentially got three nites for the price of one! I am thrilled!
  10. You will love this hotel. We stayed there when it first opened 2 years ago and loved it better than any onsite disney resort. Our kids were 4 mos 2 and 5 and they loved it as well. The hotel often run really good specials so you should call and ask. Also on your priceline confirmation if you click on customer service there is a place than you can add nights to your reservation. (subject to availability of course) Good luck and enjoy.
  11. My husband is headed to the boneroo festival and hotels were pretty pricey. This deal was not too bad considerering the Baymont website was showing $74.00.
  12. Just got the Hyatt for what I think is a great bargain. Considering its the Air & Space show that weekend I am especially pleased. We needed 2 nights prior to checking into a rented week at Marriotts Beachplace Towers. ( That was also a steal at $500.00 for 7 nites!) Hope this helps someone!
  13. Its killing me but the best I could do after months of trying :) I've seen this property come in as little as 65.00! Oh well still saving over 100.00. I was getting impatient and wanted to firm up our pre cruise. Maybe I SHOULD have waited?
  14. I had bid and won the 4* Westin in Chicago for March 3-5 for $61. it was to be a surprise for my hisband's birthday..Well he won't be able to go due to work comittments..I emailed PL and recieved an I'm sorry email but that was it. I called and explained my situation and they gave me the options to rebid. I was not allowed to bid less than the 61. If my new bid was accepted they would charge the 5.95 processing fee and if it wasn't they would charge $25.00 per nite cancel fee. I wasn't sure when we could actually go so I just bid what I thought would not be accepted. I bid up to 64.00 and thank goodness it wasn't accepted!! So I was charged the cancellation fees..This is just a heads up in case someone needs to cancel.
  15. Are you going to have a forum for car rentals? I know Hotwire often beats Priceline in this area. Just thought I'd ask :)
  16. A last minute bid of $77.00 got us this property. A great bargain. Very nice older hotel close to Fanuel(sp) hall and other things we wanted to see. My Wyndham by Request membership landed us an upgrade to a beautiful corner room with a nice view. I really liked this hotel. This is the one on Broad ST not to be confused with the Wyndham Tremont which is 3*
  17. Got this for NYE for $59.00 not bad since most of the hotels were sold out. The location was good for our needs. Not a bad hotel and it usually goes for around $30-35.00 which is a great bargain.
  18. Bid this for my husband and his partner in October of 02. I think each room was approx $80.00. They both thought this was one of the nicest hotels they ever stayed at. Not on the strip, but close enough to drive and they said the views were fabulous. My husband wants to go back for some R&R. Boots
  19. Got this for December 20, 2002 for $121.00. An absolute bargain for this hotel. Was offered and accepted an upgrade to a jr suite for $30.00. IMHO this is one of the best hotels in NYC. And the restaurant Norma's is not to be missed for breakfast.. Expensive but so worth it. Boots
  20. April 17-21 2003. Hit on$37.00 2 rooms for 4 nites for less than $380.00 I was a little disappointed at first bt after some research, it appears that this hotel will be the best for our family. We have three small children and the hotel has a children's center, babysitting, and the kids eat free. So I think this is a great deal. I was reluctant to bid 4* because of the possibility of getting a hotel without a pool. So I am happy. Boots
