It might start feeling good to you again when you find out the person in the room next to you paid $149 plus the same $20 for parking. An amazing hotel and in the top five hotels I hope to one day to visit!!!

Very decent hotel ... I stayed here last year. Make sure you try the strawberry hinted ice water they have in the lobby. Nice breakfast place across the street called US Egg.

I finally got a weekend away... I tried downtown first for the Hyatt... than for the Hyatt Tamaya resort ... no luck. My airport bids were $30, $32 (got a counter to add $8) ... I than failed at $33, $34 and won at $35. This hotel is a dump ... a converted red roof inn. They actually ran our of breakfast twice during my stay. Most of the hotels were sold out so, I was at least lucky to win this.

Got this a couple weeks ago for a relative... he wanted something where he could park for a week for free close to the airport. This worked out perfectly and the hotel offers a free airport shuttle to boot!!! My first bid of $35 was accepted. I have won this hotel previously for $33... but during a brief brain freeze, I overbid this time and left a $2 tip for Priceline.

I've tried PL a few times for this zone back in 2002-2003 and had no luck. Your best bet if you just want a deal is the hotel coupon books you get at McDonald's ... I got this for some relatives who were hoping for a hotel with an indoor pool for the kids. I was hoping for either this HGI or the Courtyard in Lynwood and NOT an upgrade to the Holiday Inn Select Kent. I tried both zones starting at $29 and got an immediate counter to add $7. I than bid $30, $31 and hit at $33. I'm super happy with the result and their website on the services page says they offer complimentry breakfast which is unusual for HGI's ... so, I called the hotel and they said "NO" and were surprised when I mentioned their website although, he said he would honor it if they brought in a print out. This was the cheapest resort on PL Vacations ... and the estimated price should have been around $60 or less. I bid this zone for a 4*/resort up to $85 and kept failing??? I than, focused on the Wyndham Buttes in Tempe ... $60, $65, $70 ... than, I added Scottsdale at $75 and ended up winning this? This was just minutes after getting rejected at $85??? Maybe, PL is not upgrading from 4* to a resort anymore ... even though, it greyed out both 4* and resort???
