Interesting ... I called into Priceline and after entering my request # ... it bypassed all the normal prompts and the phone was answered almost right away by a customer care rep. After getting nowhere, I was transfered to a supervisor (Tony) who said that there are 1000's of reservations they will have to deal with .... the ones that are being cancelled will be all gone by Monday ***print out your winning bids*** I already could not locate one under the "my trips" section. He said to use "check on my requests" to pull up my missing win. ... he said to contact management on Monday directly though the link under investor relations and we'd here back within 48 hours. In my case, they have cancelled my reservation and kept my friend's ... both were under the same email/account. I am pasting below part of the emails I received where La Quinta will reimburse for changed flights, car rental due to the cancelled room ... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the event your cancelled or rebooked reservations result in cancellation/change fees for airline tickets, rental car reservations or other expenditures you made between the date you made your priceline offer and the date of this letter, LaQuinta will reimburse those fees, as long as the dates of your purchased travel reservations correspond directly to the dates of your original hotel stay and you can provide documentation of such purchases.
