  1. We decided to stay at the Comfort Inn near the park for $100 rather than gamble with Price.line. Thank you
  2. Is it too early to reserve a room for a Saturday in July? July 30-31. 2 adults/2 children $254/night. $24 resort fee Any idea what hotel? Maybe the Onmi? FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free Internet, Resort, Pet friendly, Beachfront hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Kitchenette, Spa services, Children's activities
  3. Looking to get a 2 1/2* for Mon 5/28 for 1 night. Not a lot of information here. Priceline has a guaranteed 8/10 review w/ pool and business center for bidding. Would like to stay near Hershey Park. Any advice on what amount to bid or hotels bid that have been won in the past would be greatly appreciated. I have a cancelable reservation for $100 at the Comfort Inn which is very close to park and includes breakfast. Thank you! I used above link to search.
  4. I placed a price line bid earlier today for a 3* in Plymouth Meeting Zone for $50. It was not accepted and no counter offer made. I agree that a bid of $60-75+ is probably more like it. Consideing Priceline fees and taxes totaling closer to $80-100, I decided getting up early was not too bad. Thank you for your help!!
  5. Taking my son to an event tomorrow am in King of Prussia, PA. We live 1 1/2 hours away and was planning to drive, but if I can land a deal on a hotel it may be worth it to get a couple of hours of sleep and perhaps do some shopping tonight. Not much information here on Priceline bid wins in the area. Looks like there is 3 or 4 zones in the area. 3 out of 4 have 3* (Plymouth Meeting/Exton-Malvern/Valley Forge) and the highest for the other is 2 1/2 star (Pottstown). Most 3* hotels seem good, but there is one 3* in Valley Forge that seems absolutely HORRIBLE! (Scanticon) There are no hotels higher than 3* Hotels seem to retail for around 90-140$. Any bidding advice greatly appreciated. Does $50 sound possible for a 3*?? Thanks! I used Better Bidding links to research.
  6. March 10-16th. Looking for a friend who also wants to go to Tucson. Still holding on Vegas, as I prefer to stay at Venetian or Palazzo, not the Trump. Updated previous post.
  7. Thank you. Really want to stay at Venetian or Palazzo. Will check back and see if anything else if offered. Going in July, so I have plenty of time.
  8. Need help identifying 3* hotel for $117 Tucson (Foothills area) - March Suite Smoke free Complimentary breakfast Fitness center Pool Business center laundry High Speed internet Golf nearby Tennis Nearby Kitchenette No resort fee listed Any ideas? Used HOTWIRE link Thanks!
  9. Original price listed as $215, which is the current price on Hotwire for Venetian and Palazo. Does this make a difference or is it not relevant? The smoke free and kitchenette seem to be consistent with Trump. I do not see a resort fee at he Trump, though. Thanks
  10. Used link to search. Hotwire showing 5* Las Vegas North Strip 7/11-7/16 for $95 90% recommended Spa Fitness Center Resort High Speed Internet Kitchenette Pool Smoke free Restaurant $20 resort fee Any ideas? Thanks! I really want to stay at Palazzo or Venetian.
  11. I am attending a conference in July at the Venetian. Anyone have any advice on distinguishing between the 5 star resorts on strip North? The listings seems very similiar. ANy help greatly appreciated!
  12. Booked the Westin LaPaloma Resort and Spa for $135 per night. Cheapest online rate I could find was a paid upfront/locked in fee of $259. There is a resort fee of $20, which I was told by resort cover fitness, high speed internet, and 2 incoming faxes. Self parking is free. Amenities Resort Smoke-free rooms Spa High speed internet Restaurant Pools Tennis Nearby Golf Nearby Children's Activities Business Center Fitness Center This was the resort I thought it was. I am attending a conference at Loews which is about 5 miles/10 minute drive away. Conference rate there was discounted at $299! Ouch! Considering a 6 night stay, this is a savings of over $900 after taxes/parking and resort fees!
  13. Beachfront Property Smoke Free Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities High Speed Internet Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services 95% recommended (but immediately after I purchased it then eliminated the 95% recommended and said something about gathering reviews about this property -whatever that means) This Marriott seems to have very good reviews I am happy with my purchase! Marriott.com lists start this room at $299 ($269 with AAA). We are staying at a Marriott Vacation Club for a week, but needed an extra day, so this works out fine for us! I have a question - I am assuming I will be assigned a king bed and resort view, which is fine. I am now taking a child with me. Anyone have any experience getting 2 beds? They have a rollaway bed option or I can bring the aerobed for her, so it is fine with me either way. I was just wondering.
