I had expected the Courtyard by Marriott, but the Atlanta Marriott popped up.

I waited until the last minute for this reservation, free parking was one amenity that differed from the other 4 star.
I used the HOTWIRE link here on the forum.
I'm disappointed, since the regular web rate is $99.
I double checked my event registration and realized that I was short one night. I used the HOTWIRE link here on the forum to search for a one night stay in downtown Atlanta. Hotwire listed a 4 star hotel with fitness room, pools, restaurant, and high speed internet access plus a business center. The mystery hotel was the Hyatt Regency at $79, where I was already staying for the event at $99.
I used the HOTWIRE link to get a $15.95 daily rate with a $107.81 total for a midsize car from Alamo, November 10-14, Atlanta. Other sites including Priceline were quoting at least $167. I really like Alamo, because they allow you to choose your own vehicle. Also, Alamo has no group of older cars for Hotwire or Priceline customers, unlike H???? or A???.
I started bidding $50 for a 3* hotel in the LV Convention Center area. My initial bid was rejected and Priceline responded with a $64 counter bid, which I rejected. Based on previous posts on the forum, I started another bid for $60 for a 4* hotel in the CC area and won the Renaissance. :) I used the PRICELINE link here on the forum.

The room rate is $79 for Wednesday, August 15, not bad for a last minute reservation.
