  1. Oh Yeaaa......Finalized! I just love the packages that I got.... Ballys: 1 night ask for the "Summer Sizzlin" pkg. @ $69 per night inc. 2 free tix to see Jubilee (a $116.00 value) and a deluxe a room. (I will bring a blindfold for the hubby) The Imperial Palace : 2 weekdays nights with "Some Like it hot Package" lots of freebies! @$59.00 per night (deluxe room) and 2 weekend nights "The Casino Gold Package" lots of freebies! @ $85.00 per night (deluxe room) The Venetian: Booked with Priceline for $99.00 for the last 2 nights. (no freebies!) I even had $ left over to buy Celine Dion tix through Ticketmaster! Any tips on getting discounted tix for the magician Lance? How much is the taxi from one hotel to the other cost? No doubt, I'm going to need another vacation after this! Just asking, how does this itenerary sound to you? (in your opinion) . *Above rates are subjected to change, until booked with a credit card!
  2. That's a great tip about the taxi fare. I will ask the price before I ride, as a New Yorker I will not be taken! Thanks!
  3. Good news... I gave Priceline another try for July 17 and 18 and bid $99.00 and I got it! I'm not excatly sure if the room has a view or facing the parking lot or 1 bed or 2. (is there any way to find out before I get there?) Well who cares, I'm in the best 5* hotel...WhoooooHoooo!!! Now it looks like I need to go and book for July 12-15th, TI or NY NY and book it quick... Any suggestions? Can any of my other question be answered here? I have to say that this board has been very helpful to me and I hope it helps others. Thanks again!
  4. You are so so so right!!! Why should I stay in a cheap budget motel/hotel where I would have to walk a 1/4 mile just to get to the main building, When I can stay in an deluxe hotel, high floor, with a view of the strip and free buffets and coupons. These are booked online with the hotel directly. You can also call the hotel directly and mention the online rates. Sorry Priceline...I will still try you 1 more time to see if I can bid on the Venietan. Here's my tenetive plan July 12-15 (Tues. - Fri) I can stay at either NY NY or TI. they both have a package for $79-89 per night with an upgraded deluxe room and buy 1 get on free buffet, welcome cocktail, and other coupons. (which hotel is better?) Now my for weekend stay...The Imperial Place for $85 per night (inc. free gift, free buffet, tix for auto show etc ..)(cheaper on the weekdays) $59.00.* just ask for the Casino Royal Package and they will hook you up. Sun and Mon....I can stay in The Luxor...for just $79.99 a night.. another fablous package inc.. deluxe accomodatio, tickets to tut's museum, etc.. Best of all, this is can be cancelled 24 hrs. in advanced and credit card refunded. Just wondering... Does it pay to rent a car in Vegas? What does taxi from aiport to hotel cost? What is the going rate for taxi from one hotel to another hotels cost? Are there any hotels that offer free transfer to another hotel? What's the best way the get tix to see Celine Dion? Any comments on this iternary would be appreciated. Thanks again for all your help and especially for having a message board like this.
  5. I will try my best to get the Venetian, but if Easyclicktravel rejects me than what can I do. (boohoo) I'm going to try Priceline again for a 4*....what should I bid for the 7 nights?
  6. Ok...I will split my bid. But I do want to stay at the Venetian no matter what it takes. I rather stay there in the beginning of my 7 day stay. Tonight I tried Priceline and they refused the $99 for July 12-15 (weeksdays). So now I am ready to go with the link below.... Now for July 12 and 13 it shows me "On Request" ...I see from your message below that you need to wait 2-3 days before you hear an answer. What if just July 14 is availiable, do they charge your credit card for that 1 day. Also I see that the Venentian has July 12 avaliable on their website and it's 199.00 a night. So $108. does't sound that bad. Worst case scenario ...I seen Boardwalk for 7 nights for $380. is this a good hotel? Help...tick...tick...time is running out! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On Request = EasyClickTravel has sold out of their pre-purchased hotels, but they will contact the hotel to see if they can purchase more at their contracted rate. It usually takes 48-72 hours to hear back from an 'on request' submission ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  7. On the link HERE, I am willing to go for the 108.53 per night if I can get the Venetian for July 12, 13, 14, ( I decided to split my bid) But I see the dates, Jul 12 and 13 shows "on request". Does that mean its not avaliable? Yet it gives me a total price for all the nights when I hit "BOOK IT" I called the Venetian hotel direct and its sold out for July 12. What should I do? Is there a waiting list for this hotel ? I tried Priceline the other night again for a 4* strip for $90 and they made me wait for 3 hours before they replied NO! Has this happened to anyone? Hurry I feel I'm running out of time, I'm looking for 7 nights stay July 12-19, any leads are appreciated!
  8. Can you please update this list? I would love to print this out and take it with me. Thanks!
  9. I will give it a try as soon as I can bid again! Thanks!
  10. ok... Here is my big budget....no more than $99. a night! If I decide to stay in 1 hotel the entire 7 nights and not bounce around what are my options here? If I decide to split my bid and move from one hotel to another what are my options? ( I have to pay for a cab and the hassle of unpacking and adding more tips for baggage handlers) Speaking from YOUR past experiences tell me if this is worth bid-splitting? Then again, I'm thinking it would be a nice change of scenery. Thanks for your help!
  11. Thereuare You seem to know your stuff. Well I'm impressed! It looks like I'm not going to get a 5 * for 7/12 (my first night) with priceline. I looked at their... Viewing Top Neighborhoods and for that date and they did not list any 5 stars. Did you hear about the summer special at the Venietion starting from $100 and up a night. It's a 100 anniversary hour special and it ends on (tommorrow) Friday at 6pm. Hmmm...Hoboken, I would of thought you lived in Vegas. Please help me get a good rate when I re-bid again in a few days, sort of take me step by-step. Or if you hear of any special super saver promo rates, let me know. Thanks!
  12. Ok....So I'm new to this. I'm not sure what you mean by splitting the bid. Does it mean that you stay in 1 hotel for 3 days and move to another one for 4 days. Isn't it a inconvience and expensive to pack up and move? How many people like doing this? Is it worth it? Well I bidded again last night for the strip...for a 5 star I put in $81, then I put in 4 star for $71, 3 star for $51, all REJECTED. I am willing to go for $99 if I can get a 5 star hotel all 7 nights. Well I'll wait 72 hours and I bid again. Wish me luck!
  13. Hi, OK, I'm going to give it another try after 72 hours... Just asking whats the best amount to bid for a 5 and 4 star hotel on the strip. Please let me know your strategies in using Priceline. What amount do I start with? Should I pay what they ask if the found something? Would I be getting the same 3 and 4 stars hotels listed on Hotwire ( not something off the beaten track). I appreciate your help!
  14. Hi, My first experince with Priceline was amazing. I got 2 nights in Miami and paid only 44 dollars per night, thanks to this board, I can honestly say that I am willing to give it another shot. I'm looking into Las Vegas for the week of July 12 for 7 nights. I bought the airfare seperate and got a good deal. I need a Hotel and here's what I did so far.. I put in a 4 star on the strip and bid 51 dollars (no luck) they told me they found a hotel for 99 dollars if I wanted it....then I bid for a 3 star at 35 (no luck) now I cant bid for 72 hours. Did I low ball them? I thought thats what your suppose to do. Give me you best starting bid for a 3 and 4 star for the month of July. Also I need help with getting good prices for attarctions in the area...(breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets for cheap and attractions in the area. I am on a budget. Any help would be appreciated. I need to bid again in 48 hours...Also can my husband use priceline and bid (his card # is the same as mine or will they reject it)??? What are some of the 3 and 4 star hotels on the strip??? Next time should I put in $99 for a 4 star to start of with???
