  1. This was a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal that I took. No bidding this time.
  2. Star level should be 3.5. Started at $40 and increased by $10 and won the bid at $60. I was trying to scope out the Raddison and got this one by surprise. It will be good. For future bidding, it might accept a bid for something between $50 to $60.
  3. Started bidding last week and into this week. I had pretty much given hope since it was a holiday weekend. Honestly, I was kind of frustrated and just sort of flippingly bid the $90 as I didn't think it would be accepted and surprised to "win" the bid. In the end, I didn't strategically bid up the 2.5* and probably over paid for this room. Note: This is a new hotel to add to the pinned list. Used PRICELINE link as always
  4. I'm guessing the Quality Inn is the only Priceline hotel in this zone.
  5. My wife and sister-in-law are going to spending one weekend night at the Double Tree Mag Mile Downtown Chicago. Their parking is $45.00 per night. Is this a reasonable rate for the convience or are there alternatives that can save a little money and provides a reasonable convience. I guess personal safety and vehicle security are other considerations too. Any help or ideas are appreciated!
  6. There are thre 3.5* in this zone and all have accepted bids in the $45 - $60. With all the rebid opportunities in the Minneapolis area I started bidding the night before and opened the bidding at $40. Increased bids by $3 each time and quit around $60. Must have been a busy weekend.
  7. Thanks for the quick response! I was afraid that would be your answer, but thought it was worth asking. Thanks again!
  8. With the knowledge of previous posts, bid $44 on morning of 7/29/11 for the night of 7/29/11 and got the bid.
