Ok here I go again. Did this almost a year ago. Have a 4 star in central phoenix. Shows the following: Resort Restaurant Pool Spa Golf tennis business center Dates are Feb 11 for one night. Comes up $426. I know this zone use to only have Hilton Tapatio and Hilton Squaw Peak. Both of those have fitness center listed in amenities. Any idea if Hotwire leaves out amenities sometimes? Thanks for any help.

There is a condo listed for this day on hotwire. It shows near beach as one of its amenities. I live in Phoenix, and last time I checked we did not have any beaches. Here is the list of amenities Resort Near Beach 1 BDRM suite fully equiped kitchen kitchenette pool daily housekeeping ac washer/dryer spa fitness free parking 24 hr desk golf tennis laundry Very strange. Just checked hotwire vacations. This hotel came up and is in fact the Scottsdale Conference Center.

Or maybe some umbrella drinks for the wife and I.

Tried $40, $43, $45, $46, Got it at $47. Seems to be the lowest. This is for 8/14/04 for one night. Never stayed here but sounds like it will be fun for the kids at the pools.

Thanks for the information. Think I will skip it. Have stayed here before and it is very nice but I can get a better deal here without Hotwire. Will have to keep my out and see if it is in fact the conference center.

A new 4.5* has come up in North Scottsdale. Different Amenities than the Westin Kierland. This is considered a Resort by priceline. I believe it is a 4 star according to AAA ratings. Fell just shy of a 5 star.

Bid $46 in Phoenix North and got an offer to rebid for $13 more. Bid $50 adding Fountain Hills. Got the JW. Cheapest on marriott website $149. Have stayed here before and it is very nice. Just wanted to let everyone know it is popping up again.

I just did one for a hotel in Phoenix. The board was very helpful with this. Hotwire did not give me any trouble. I had an email on the second day in the early morning and that was that.

Yeah!!! Finally heard from Hotwire. I will be getting my refund of $168. That takes my cost per night $25. However since they do not reduce the tax I am paying a total of $91.95. Still a great deal. The cheapest on hilton's website was $67 a night for a prepaid can't be cancelled rate. Thanks again to betterbidding.

I know the form says it can take up to three days to confirm. However, the price at the pointehilton website has gone up tonight. Still nothing from Hotwire. I have a print out from Friday of the $67 rate that shows the date I printed it. Is Hotwire going to deny my claim now?

Yes this hotel is rated a resort. I bid on a 3* and was upgraded. I have read that you can only get this by bidding resort if you bid atleast $40. At one time I read that this resort was rated a 3* by priceline. Not sure when it was changed or why. Now I did add another night and bid $20+ $10 bonus and had the same thing happen. Someone else tried $19 and was rejected.

Bonus was $10. Received it via email from Priceline today. It was for 3*and above, must be booked by April 18 and must checkout by may 28. Not sure why I got it but it seems to be going around.

Bid $25 for a 3* in Scottsdale. Came up and said we have upgraded you to a resort. Total with fees $34.16. This is for 5/22/04. Got the bonus email and decided to try it. Had already tried Scottsdlae 4 * and resort up to $35. Then started a new bid for a 3*. Strange how it works sometimes. Love this board.

I saw on an intercot west board a priceline topic. Someone posted that they used hotwire to get a 2.5 * in Disneyland North with breakfast included and it was a Holiday inn Express 4 miles from Disneyland. Not sure but that might be it.

New Years Eve. 12/31/03-1/1/04. Just one night. $60 accepted. I was suprised being New Years. Seems like a great deal to me.

thanks for the info. We have decided not to follow through with this trip. I agree about the other two Embassy Suites. The one on Thomas is in a not so great part of town.
