Decided to stay another night here after my other failed attempt at Isleta. I decided to try different prices to see how low I could go. Got it for $75 this time. Used the PRICELINE link, Bid $56 in uptown, offered rebid at $85 again. added east zone, bid at $67, rejected added bosque farms, bid at $71, rejected added north zone, bid at $75, accepted

With only three 4* hotels in Albuquerque, I felt pretty safe trying to get the Isleta Casino in Bosque Farms for a low price. I unfortunately made eight offers reaching the highest I'd consider paying to stay at the hotel and was unsuccessful. I also couldn't find any previous successes by anyone on this forum, I went through 20 pages of results, but without a search function, I didn't find much. I started with the PRICELINE link and entered the price where the "red popup" changed from "almost no chance" to "small chance" of winning. That was $40. Rejected added abq east, tried 46, rejected added abq north, tried 51, rejected added abq west, tried 57, rejected added balloon fiesta, tried 61, rejected added midtown, tried 66, rejected added old town, tried 71, rejected added uptown, tried 76, rejected added rio rancho, tried 80, rejected Considering that HOTWIRE has an offer at 89, I'm not sure why I didn't get success, but I don't think $81 is worth it (approx $100 with taxes) so added a nite to my sheraton win.

Used the PRICELINE link: Tried $40 for 3.5* at IAH. No Success or counter-offer. Later bid $45 for 3.5* at IAH. Success! Hilton Houston North. (Offered at $199 on their website) Good luck to anyone else!

Thanks! Just a suggestion, you should replicate (and sticky) a link to Priceline Re-Bidding Explained in every PriceLine forum.. I saw this after the fact, and actually figured out the re-bidding trick by reading in between the lines on HotelGirl's post... The only piece I missed is that it is a waste to rebid the same price, because their acceptance price is fixed (no "luck" or randomization involved).

Trying to replicate HotelGirl's deal ($75 for waterfront)... I ended up with $80 for the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel, not bad. Bidding strategy.. good luck others! $75 - Inner Harbor 4* --> Countered $95, knowing that all 4* hotels in Baltimore are in the Inner Harbor, I started adding zones $75 - Inner Harbor, Vernon, 4* --> Countered $80 - Inner Harbor, Vernon, Stadium --> Accepted! Oh, and I did use the PRICELINE link.. Thanks for a great forum
