Successfully bid $52 ($12.10) plus taxes for a total of $64.10 for a Friday night stay (1 night). Great pit stop for visit to NYC. Got Hilton Stamford CT Hotel and Executive Meeting Center. Nicer than Stamford Marriott where I had stayed in the past.

Bid was accepted on June 1, 2011 Plus taxes of $35.88 plus $70 resort fee ($35/night) pushed the total over $300 for 2 nights. Still much better than the rack rate base which is over $300/night. Resort fee is pretty annoying (but includes parking, 2 bottles of water/night, shuttle, and spa). Priceline should display the resort fee up-front.
